Housefull 5 movie review
Housefull 5 is a no-brainer slapstick comedy that is high on overexposure of skin show and the actresses reduced merely as a glamour quotient. At times the males mouthing crude and tasteless (supposed to be humorous) jokes on female characters. There is a strand of it being a suspense thriller towards the end, which too isn't effectively conveyed. It is replete with crude and nasty comedy. This fifth film of the Housefull sequel completely lacks the finesse, class and crisp humour of it's earlier films, particularly the first two parts. One misses the original Batuk Patel (Boman Irani). In retrospect the earlier Housefull films delivered loud laughs, wild confusion and were rollercoaster comedies with slapstick humour and witty one-liners. A London-based billionaire, owner of a luxurious Cruise dies mysteriously during his birthday celebrations on the cruise. As per his will, after ....

Mrs Serial Killer (2020)
Chanced upon a little known gory murder mystery which goes by the name of Mrs Serial Killer is streaming now on Netflix and would have gone unnoticed if I was not sifting through the movies that I want to see. Released almost a year ago, Mrs Serial Killer is really less known as there was no fanfare or much hype and hoola created on its launch. It has got a few A-listers in its acting roll call namely Jacqueline Fernandez in the title role and also the protagonist is the new slasher in town and Manoj Bajpai plays her doctor husband with Mohit Raina playing a cop who is also her ex-lover, you get the love triangle drift by now isn't it? The other characters, there is nothing much to write home about they flit in ànd out throughout the movie. The thing that irritates you as the movie begins, is that the events are too sudden and in your face, disjoint and the characters behave as if ....

Aladin, movie review
From the land of myths and legends - India - comes a fantasy adventure for the entire family. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Aladin is a modern re-imagining of the classic tale of 'Aladin and the Magic Lamp'. Aladin movie review... Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh) lives in the city of Khwaish, an orphan who has been bullied since childhood by Kasim (Sahil Khan) and his gang for being the namesake of the fairy tale character. Often his classmates ridicule him by making him rub lamps through which no genie emerges. Poor Aladin. One fine day, his life changes when Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) gives him a magic lamp - because it lets lose the genie Genius (Amitabh Bachchan). Much to his disbelief, the Genie (Amitabh Bachchan) does come out of the lamp. Genius is on the verge of retirement and has his last three wishes to grant to his final master Aladin.
