Shivaay movie review
A story of an extraordinary man in an extra ordinary circumstance where he has to break the law to save his daughter in a foreign land. A Himalayan mountaineer, Shivaay (Ajay Devgn) is an innocent everyman, who is capable of transforming into a mean destroyer when he needs to protect his family. In the opening sequence, the Himalayan mountaineer, Shivaay is shown rapelling down a steep and dangerous cliff in the Himalayas. In an edge of the seat stunt he is watched by the Indian armed forces and manages to reach them to hand over the information they needed. In return the Indian army people pay him in cash. Somewhat unbelievable! That apart, Shivaay who makes a living by providing treks and climbing expeditions to tourists, lives alone in a small house in the mountains. On one such trek he meets the beautiful Olga (Erika Kaar), a student from Bulgaria and saves her from an avalanch ....

Saat Uchakkey, movie review
A comedy caper about 7 scoundrels pursuing their ulterior motive amid saving their skin from the local cop's hawk eyes. It appears as a realistic story of these petty crooks blundering their way through an exciting gamut of mystery, greed, treachery and running into one riotouscrisis after another. It hilariously illustrates the predicament of Pappi Jaatwala (Manoj Bajpayee) who chances upon a prophecy made by a mystic tramp Bichchi (Annu Kapoor). He is turning 40 and now this good-for-nothing daydreamer has been given a deadline by his girl friend Sona (Aditi Sharma) whilst he appears to lose grip on reality, bent on believing someday very soon, he would stumble upon a hefty windfall. His girl friend Sona is skilled at the intricate art of manipulating any person for her benefit with fish apenty in the big wide sea. She does so with charm and ease. Shortcut Safari, hindi movie review
A jungle adventure film, that attempts to reconnect us with our roots through the eyes of seven children and showcase the natural world in contrast with the humdrum and chaos of daily city life. Directoral debut of celebrated cinematographer (DoP), Amitabha Singh, who has National Award winners Chillar Party, Khosla Ka Ghosla and India’s Oscar entrant in 2014, THE GOOD ROAD to his credit, the film is finely crafted except otherwise the CGI when the wild animals are shown moving around freely in the jungle. This adventure film traces the adventerous, exciting and even scary moments of a few school going kids who get stuck in a dense forest during their outing. Kids are kids, and when they insist that they reach their destination before the other vehicles, in an attempt to take a short-cut, their van gets stuck in the middle of the dense jungle. The driver leaves to reach out for r ....

Saala Khadoos - movie review
R Madhavan plays a failed, disheartened retired boxer who now, is a coach of women's boxing for the Indian Boxing Federation. Being true to his profession and the country, this nutty coach has the uncanny ability to spot budding talent. He comes up with a convincing and extremely realistic performance of a true and honest coach who puts all his efforts, time (and money) in nuturing raw talent. Being a true boxing coach, he cannot accept anything mediocre in his budding women boxers. Nothing less. Adi Tomar (R. Madhavan) is a Senior Boxing Coach for Women's Boxing Federation of India. The federation chief (Zakir Hussain) is a typical babu type who keeps his personal motives and benefits in mind while selection of the women boxer to represent the country. Adi's outspoken and blunt behaviour leads to him being transferred to Chennai, where he finds the selected women boxers belo ....

SPECTRE - Movie review
Daniel Craig's fourth appearance as the fictional British Secret Agent 007 James Bond in Spectre was worth the wait. His earlier appearances as the British spy were that in Casino Royale (his debut as James Bond), followed by Quantum of Solace and then in Skyfall. The 007 franchise is the longest running in film history with twenty-four films produced since 1962. This is the largest Bond film release across India exclusively in high-quality 2K digital format in 1250 screens in four languages - English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu - and in 2D and IMAX formats. Spectre comes across as a 'mature' Bond flick with an intriguing story with enthralling moments and more so with the life-like realistic situations, a special mention of the situation when the helpless 007 notices that the car which he runs off from the Agency wasn't equipped with ammunition but he has to get rid of the baddies. It ....
