Bhojpuri Film Awards 2013 celebrates Bhojpuri Cinema with great pride!

2013 has been a fabulous year for the Bhojpuri Cinema there couldn’t be any other platform to celebrate this cinema than 2013 Bhojpuri Awards.

It is for the first time that the awards were held in the heart of Bhojpuri Cinema – Lucknow at Dayal Royal Club. The fact that politicians came all out to support the awards ceremony says a lot about this mega event. Congress Leader Rashid Alvi, Samajwadi Party Minister Shiv Pratap Yadav, Kunwar Virendra Pratap (Laked) Vinod Gupta, Founder – President of Bhojpuri Film Awards lit the auspicious lamp on the stage following which the glamorous event kick started.

Hosts Dinesh Lal Yadav “ Nirahua” and Risabh Kashyap entertained the audience with their funny acts and camaraderie. The Best Actor – Male award was presented to Dinesh Lal Yadav “ Nirahua” for his stupendous performance in movie Ek Duuje Ke Liye while the Best Actor – Female award was given to Rani Chaterjee for her mind blowing role in Nagin. Film Ek Duje Ke liye was adjudged as 2013’s Best Bhojpuri Film.

The award ceremony also recognized some rare talent Special Awards were given to Malini Awasthi. Other stars like Kunika Lal, Anupam Shyam of Agle Janam mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Surendra Pal, Kunal Singh, Poonam Dubey.

 

The most entertaining night of Bhojpuri cinema was completed with lots of dance and masti. Item queens Seema Singh sizzled on various Bhojpuri Hit numbers while Sambhavna Seth danced to the tunes of Aa re Preetanm Pyaare and Rinku Ghosh performed with Dinesh Lal Yadav. Raji Chaterjee sizzled on her hit number from movie Sasura Bada Paisawala. Top Bhojpuri stars like Dinesh lal Yadav and Pankaj Keshri set the stage on fire with their killer dance moves. Manoj tiger entertained audience with his funny acts.

 

Vinod Gupta, Founder President of Bhojpuri Film Awards said,* “2013 Bhojpuri Awards is not only a celebration of Bhojpuri cinema but it’s also a festival of our heritage, a culture that the world should know about India. This award is a window to the rich Bhojpuri culture and Heritage ”

2. Best Director: Ranjan Kumar Singh – Bidesiya.

3. Best Actor Male: Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua” – Ek Duuje Ke liye

4. Best Actor Female: Rani Chaterjee – Nagin.

5. Best Actor in a Comic Role: Manoj Tiger – Nagin

6. Best Film on a Social Issue: Gangadevi

7. Best Supporting Actor – Male: Gajendra Chouhan – Lawaris

8. Best Supporting Actor – Female: Maya Yadav – Bidesiya

9. Best Actor in a Negative Role: Avdhesh Mishra – Jwala Mandi

10. Best Debut Male: Vijay Varma – Dhadkela Tohre Naav Karejwa Hamar

11. Best Debut Female: Madhu Sharma- Ek Duuje Ke Liye

12. Best Music: Rajesh-Rajnish – Nagin

13. Best Lyricist: Bhikhari Thakur – Piya Mora Mat Jaa (Bidesiya)

14. Best Singer – Male: Pawan Singh – Nagin

15. Best Singer –Female: Kalpna – Chhat mai Ke (Nagin)

16. Best Action: Venkat – Hero

17. Best Story: Anil Ajitabh – Ek Duje Ke Liye

18. Best Screenplay: Manoj Kushwaha – Nagin

19. Best Dialogue: Umesh Upadhyay – Bidesiya

20. Best Choreography: Pappu Khanna – Ek Duuje Ke Liye

21. Best Item Dance: Sambhavana Seth – Lawaris

22. Best Editor: Jeetu Singh – Saugandh Ganga Maiya Ke

23. Best Cinematography: Firoz Khan – Nagin

24. Special Award to Support to Music: Gautam Kumar of Wave Music

25. Special Award to Contribution for Bhojpuri Cinema: Loko Sahdev for
Development of Bhojpuri Cinema Globally
