Ginny Weds Sunny review
There seems to be a marriage season going on Netflix amidst this Covid-19 enforced slowdown what with the web series 'A Suitable Boy' and now - Ginny Weds Sunny, that is directed by debutante Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan and released on Netflix. People seem to be missing the marriage festivities with so many limitations and restrictions in place, it's only fair that atleast we can enjoy it on the net. Being released as a Netflix original movie and a decent star cast we had high hopes from this one. It started off well. The matchmaking game in the beginning though far-fetched, one could still digest but somewhere wanting to be different from Tanu weds Manu and other marriage runathons and to be too raw and very real it petered out in the end. The punch, the usual pull at the heartstrings was missing in Ginny weds Sunny and it all looked very forced, well no one can f ....

Kaabil, movie review
Rohan Bhatnagar (Hritik Roshan) meets Supriya (Yami Gautam), they like each other and fall in love. They get married and life is full of roses, till one unfortunate day when a local goon and his friend misbehave with this made-for-each-other couple. This kickstarts the beginning of this happy couple's woes. Rohan and Supriya are specially abled (a blind couple) who understand each other through their sixth sense, like it is said that when an individuals are deprived with any of the 5 essential senses, the almighty always gifts them with a sixtn sense. Rohan is a voice-over artist, while Supriya is an independent working woman. The romance is shown blossoming in such a pattern that one tends to be a part of the story and begins to feel for them. One noteworthy instance in the film is right in the beginning where the couple while in their dating stage visit a mall and get separated. ....

Badlapur - Hindi movie review
A dark thriller with its unique story telling approach gathering momentum with its pace, BADLAPUR has its magnificent camera work and superlative performances from Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi. Yet another spine-chiller from Sriram Raghavan who earlier made a notable revenge drama - Ek Hasina Thi (2004) and an out-and-out thriller - Johnny Gaddaar (2007). Badlapur doesn't preach, has no message, it is just a plain thriller which has an unpredictable ending. Raghu's (Varun Dhawan) turns upside down when his wife Misha (Yami Gautam) and son Robin are shot dead (un-intentionally) by the thieves during a bank heist and who ultimately escape. One of them Liak (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is apprehended by the police, but doesn't reveal the identity of his fellow mate, mentioning that it was the other person who shot the innocent at the bank. Liak claims that he hardly ....
