Double Dhamaal - movie review
The gang of Dhamaal – the four good-for-nothing jokers- Adi, Manav, Boman and Roy are back again in Double Dhamaal! Joker No 1 Riteish Deshmukh is Roy, who fancies himself as the greatest actor in the world. But alas, whether he¹s a slit eyed Chinese crook Lee or blacker than tar Tukya Kale, he ends up with a kick on his backside. Joker No 2 Arshad Warsi is Adi. The master brain amongst the birdbrains, his ideas for making easy money sound foolproof and easy. Joker No 3 Jaaved Jaafery is Manav, Adi’s adoring younger brother. Blessed with a trusting disposition, sunny smile and zero IQ, he specializes in saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and getting everybody into trouble. Joker No 4 Ashish Chowdhry is Boman. In his quest for easy money he will go to any lengths and do anything. Double Dhamaal has all these four jokers. They are still as stupid and useless as before. Har ....

FALTU - movie review
F.A.L.T.U. - movie review A question to begin with. Consider life as a building where you have been stranded on the ground floor while all the lift doors leading to the floors of success have been shut on your face, what would you do? Well, our Faltus would create such a basement that the floors above look cheerless and dreary. Faltu is a story of coming of age of today’s youth. They don’t choose a different path but create one. Inspired by Mr. Nek Chand the creator of the famous Rock Garden in Chandigarh the film exhibits how the discarded waste of the society when channelized smartly can create a Rock Garden and become the pride of the nation. Faltu is a story about a group of friends that are considered a total waste. The cherry on the cake being that they take pride in the fact. These hard-working back-benchers are hardly seen working. They crowd up the clubs of the town ....

Aladin, movie review
From the land of myths and legends - India - comes a fantasy adventure for the entire family. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Aladin is a modern re-imagining of the classic tale of 'Aladin and the Magic Lamp'. Aladin movie review... Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh) lives in the city of Khwaish, an orphan who has been bullied since childhood by Kasim (Sahil Khan) and his gang for being the namesake of the fairy tale character. Often his classmates ridicule him by making him rub lamps through which no genie emerges. Poor Aladin. One fine day, his life changes when Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) gives him a magic lamp - because it lets lose the genie Genius (Amitabh Bachchan). Much to his disbelief, the Genie (Amitabh Bachchan) does come out of the lamp. Genius is on the verge of retirement and has his last three wishes to grant to his final master Aladin. Ideally one would expect ....

Heyy Babyy movie review
We have 3 bachelors, playboys in their sharing accomodation - Aroush (Akshay Kumar), Tanmay (Ritesh Deshmukh) and Ali (Fardeen Khan) residing in Sydney, Australia. They flirt, dine and have one night affairs with a number of women without thinking of how much hurt they might cause to them. Heyy Babyy review continues.. Then on one fine day, there is a knock on the door and a parcel which changes their lives forever. Its a baby girl cuddled in a basket lying at their door-step with a note saying ‘ kutte kamine apne bachche ko sambhalo ’. You dogs, you have had much fun around. Now face it. Bring up the child yourself. Obviously one of them impregnated a girl and now she wants nothing of the kid. Not knowing to whom the note was referred to, the three have no choice but to take care of the baby. The boys who used to romance women are now trapped changing diapers and answering mid ....

Ek Villain Film Review
An action-romance film directed by Mohit Suri featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor as the pivotal characters in this violent film apparently based on a Korean film. (Ek Villain - Film Review) Guru (Sidharth Malhotra) is a quiet, tough and ruthless boy, working for a local don, Prahlad. Guru has a dark past and its disturbing, recurring memories refuse to let Guru lead a normal life day in and day out. While being interrogated at the Police station, he gets the first glimpse of a sweet looking girl, Aisha (Shraddha Kapoor) and more than him it is Aisha who is intrigued, impressed with his persona. Aisha is the talkative, ‘ek joke sunoge’ types (which is a bit too much to bear at times). Aisha persuades him to do a favour for her, and in the process, he realises the happiness and joy of doing something good for other. He falls in love with her, his ....

Humshakals Film review
3 heroes in triple roles, with a promise of 9 times more fun (3 x 3), Humshakals the latest offering from director Sajid Khan, makes us re-think about Himmatwala (his last outing), though a remake, atleast had some substance and soul in that film. What could have been an iconic film, the attempt fails miserably right after 15 minutes in the film. Sajid Khan has a fetish for UK locations, throwing punches at the royal family, and this one ends up as a pitiable extension of Houseful 1 and 2 which were far better comedies from the director. The story is very short and simple (in fact there is no story, plot or screenplay at all). A conniving uncle of a young tycoon Ashok is keen on grabbing the riches and properties of this innocent nephew. Ram Kapoor is the uncle aka KANS and his nephew is Ashok (Saif Ali Khan). Ashok is seen all throught with Kumar (Riteish Deshmukh), his friend ....
