Chitkabrey - movie review
Produced and directed by engineer-turned-filmmaker Suneet Arora, Chitkabrey is being touted as the boldest movie ever made in India. The film revolves around the lives of seven couples entwined in the complexities of relationships. Through different couples, the film shows love – love, love-hate, hate - love, hate - hate relations. From the outside, each of them seems like a happy close knit family. However, it gets murkier, as we delve deeper into their secret lives. There is a treachery, deceit and lies! Through the means of the film, the director has tried to bring across the truth behind the relations. Do they actually have the strength to survive the test of time or do they wither away or maybe become stronger , forms the crux of the story line. In the end, Chitkabrey - Shades of Grey has a message that no relationship can be perfectly black or white-it is usually blended in ....

Welcome to Sajjanpur, movie review
Set in a fictitious Indian village Welcome to Sajjanpur tells the humble story of the inhabitants of that village. The central character is Mahadev, one of the few educated young men from Sajjanpur. His ambition is to be a novelist, but finds it easier to make a living by writing letters sitting next to the Post Office. His ability to write persuasive letters makes him popular with the largely non-literate population of the town. Aware of this power, he soon uses his talent to manipulate people with amusing and sometimes not such amusing results. With this as the narrative frame, Welcome to Sajjanpur shows in an entertaining musical and comic way, characters and events that are at once hilarious and poignant. A delightful satirical take on a contemporary Indian village. Mahadev (Shreyas Talpade) is a young graduate from Sajjanpur village who lives with his widowed mother. She has a ....

Global Baba, movie review
Abhimanyu Singh plays a godman in this film which is based on spiritual babas of India. Global Baba is a social satire and craftily doesn't target any particular person or any religion. India could be the only country where hundreds of thousands of people (devotees) blindly surrender themselves to godmen. The film exposes such a godman who was once a hitman by the name Chillam Pehalwaan (Abhimanyu Singh) for a political party which used him as much as they could and once their dependence on him was over, they took the legal route of eliminating him in an enounter by Police Inspector Jacob (Ravi Kishan). Chillam Pehalwan manages to escape during the encounter but had taken 2 gun shots and was noticed in the nick of the moment by the saadhus on the banks of a river who nursed him to bring back to life. He is spotted by Damru (Pankaj Tripathi) who advises him to take refuge within t ....
