Ek Main aur Ekk Tu
Ek Main aur Ekk Tu is the second film from Dharma banner this year. It was Agneepath the last month, which is an action film, which this flick is in contrast to the genre of the previous film. Ek Main aur Ekk Tu movie review... With this film, Shakun Batra who was also seen in Imran Khan starer Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na as an actor makes his debut in Bollywood as a director. From the trailers, songs etc, the film was anticipated to be colorful (like all Dharma movies are) young, peppy, fresh, loads of fun and humor, but sadly it doesn’t deliver. The story of Ek Main aur Ekk Tu is narrated by Imran Khan’s character Rahul Kapoor, about incidences which take place in the span of 2 weeks which change things for him. Rahul is the son of an elite Mumbai couple - Mr and Mrs Kapoor (played by Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah) who always have controlled their son’s fate. Mr. Kapoor alw ....

Ra One - movie review
India’s most expensive film Ra One has finally released, with its aggressive pre-release promotion a month before its release. The special effects are excellent and are comparable to the best in Hollywood. Its concept is fine, the video game subject too is latest. Where it lacks, or what is unwanted is its scenes like the Karwa Chauth which is seen in the typical Indian TV soaps, and the protagonist, which the director thinks all the South Indians are curly haired. Ra One is the story of a father (Shah Rukh Khan) trying hard to ‘fit-in’ in his son’s (Master Armaan Verma) badass world, a cool dude son trying hard to ‘dude-up’ his dad from ‘aiiiyyyo’ to‘yo!’ and a mother (Kareena Kapoor) lost in translation between her husband’s ‘ingeva’ and her son’s ‘in’ it!’ Shah Rukh Khan plays a Subramaniyam - South Indian game designer, who still hasn’t come ....

Bodyguard - movie review
Bodyguard is a romantic action film, a remake of the 2010 Malayalam film of the same name. Salman Khan has an image of a star carrying a unique attitude and style of doing things, delivering punch lines and an overall aura around him which overshadows all the other characters in the movie. He continues to ride on this image after success of his previous films Wanted, Dabang and Ready. Bodyguard movie review... For the innocent and honest Lovely Singh (Salman Khan), nothing in the world matters more than hus duty as a bodyguard. A man of his word, Lovely Singh would rather die than be disloyal to his employer. Salman Khan brings out his signature earthy charm, straightforwardness and grit through the character of Lovely Singh. Divya (Kareena Kapoor) is an obedient daughter, but vibrant and mischievous by nature. She uses her brilliance in order to escape from the overbearin ....

Milenge Milenge, movie review
Love happens, if you let it; even if destiny has to step in to lend a hand. But when its about finding that special person you're going to spend the rest of your life with, should you risk tempting fate with a test of that love or should you just embrace your destiny? Milenge Milenge movie review... Finally Milenge Milenge is released and its promos point out that this is Shahid and Kareena’s last film together. The film seems dated as it was shot much earlier and as Shahid and Kareena have separated 3 years ago in real life. Shahid Kapoor is Amit. He is your regular rich guy, who smokes, drinks and flirts with gay abandon. He takes life and affairs of the heart lightly. And by the time he realizes he actually loves Priya, its too late. She's left him and their love to the vagaries of fate. Kareena Kapoor is Priya. She's a die hard romantic, who believes that destiny and only ....

Tashan movie review
Right at the start, a blood red convertible Mercedes races merrily through Ladakh's dusty terrain. This is what Tashan is about - The car swivels so does the radio nervously shuffle between AC/DC's Highway to Hell and Mukesh's rendition of Kabhi Kabhie. Huge canvas, beautiful landscape and then the car loses it control, breaks thru and goes down a lake…. Very impressive till now and one would expect that it will be the most thrilling 2 and half hours in the recent times of mediocre bollywood films. But it was disappointing. Debutant director Vijay Krishna Acharya is brilliant in a few scenes, has been supported by absolutely unbelievable stunts by Akshay Kumar and some truly exotic locales, but through the remaining parts of Tashan, it appears that Yash Raj Banner is experimenting with the Indian audience. They have done a quality job in the promos of this movie, so as in the ini ....
