Irrfan Khan's performance, Meghna Gulzar's direction and above all, its story and crisp screenplay by Vishal Bharadwaj makes Talvar a must watch film. Talvar explores the socio-economic divides in urban India: the affluent doctor-couple, the Uttar Pradesh policemen with their regressive mindsets and rough methods of investigation, and the migrants engaged in lowly jobs. And the procedural protocol that exists in the Police System. A high profile double murder case in 2008 in Noida, India where a 14-year old Aarushi Talwar was found murdered at her home. The suspicion pointed out to the 45 year old servant who was missing from the house. The next day his dead body was discovered in another part of the building. The partition of India and Pakistan is like bitter phase which has comes like a rlue but gets resolved with times. QISSA is a story of Umber Singh (Irrfan Khan) a Sikh who lives with his wife Maher (Tisca Chopra), three daughters & forth Son set in post- Colonial India when it was a part of Punjab in Pakistan. Two orphans are sent to a Refugee camp in Bangladesh where they get shelter and food in return for (working) smuggling guns. Gunday - film review The kids - Bikram and Bala are exploited by the gun dealer and now there is a child molester wanting to keep one of them as his slave. The boys sense trouble and escape from there, flee to the other side of the border and arrive in Calcutta, India. Kolkatta was then named as Calcutta. The Lunchbox is the story of two strangers who fall in love over a lunchbox of letters. What is interesting to watch in this film is that do they ever meet? This one has Irrfan’s one of the career best performances playing a middle-aged man Saajan Fernandes. Saajan’s wife having died, having no children, he is a typical single man sort of character who is avoided by all around him. One day, it so happens that a lunchbox prepared by Ila (Nimrat Kaur) for her husband, by some error, reaches Saajan who shamelessly devours the food and leaves nothing in the empty lunch box which makes Ila realize about the slip-up.
