Dhamaal 4 - movie review
Much like a character in the film who makes a promise to God only to break it once their wish is fulfilled, Dhamaal 4 feels like it is tricking and short-changes its audience. Director Indra Kumar’s latest comedy venture, Dhamaal 4 tries to follow the standard blueprint of its predecessors, offering a mixed bag of slapstick nostalgia and chaotic storytelling. Sticking to it's earlier core, this installment is centered once again around an ensemble chase for massive wealth. What doesn't quite work out is that the film leans heavily on familiar franchise elements while adding newer, increasingly absurd situational gags. The latest film continues with the core of greed and selfishness, which began from the 2007 original film where four unlucky friends hunted for treasure buried under a giant ‘W’. De De Pyaar De 2 movie review
De De Pyaar De 2 is a glossy sequel that falls much behind the charm of its predecessor, lacking the freshness of it's first part. The film sort of reminds one of Cheeni Kum quite often while watching it. This romantic comedy stumbles over uneven writing, not so funny moments and lacks emotional depth. After having convinced his family of his choice of getting married to Ayesha Khurana (28 years old) in De De Pyaar De, Ashish Mehra the 52-year-old London-based NRI investor now embarks on seeking approval from Ayesha's family. Though it shouldn't have been surprising that the girl's father is just a year older than the groom. Raid 2 movie review
The maverick director Raj Kumar Gupta applies the rules of larger-than-life heroes to the new chapter of the unsung Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik that he created almost seven years ago. The only major difference is that Ileana DCruz played Amay Patnaik's docile wife, in this version, Raid 2, his wife is played by Vaani Kapoor and while Taoji (Saurabh Shukla is now in jail, waiting for his parole. The role that he played earlier is now being enacted by none other than Riteish Deshmukh. If the first installment was set in the Indira Gandhi regime, the sequel unfolds during the V.P. Singh regime. Without overtly underlining the intent, the film finds faults in the politics of social justice and coalition governments. The film revolves around young rebel lad Govind (Aaman Devgan) who becomes captivated by Azaad, a stallion owned by the rebel leader Vikram Singh (Ajay Devgn). We are reviewing this Ajay Devgn  Tabu starrer 'Auron mein kahan dam tha'  which is about a couple's  love story that ranges 23 years from 2000 to 2023.  After watching the entire film, any mature viewer would have felt that the apt title should have been - Audience mein Kahan Dimag tha??!! This flick starring Ajay Devgan and Tabu with Jimmy Shergill in tow, and I wonder what made Jimmy to sign it?
