Bengaluru, 13th March 2017: Pixel Pictures, the producer of Super Minute, the popular game-based reality show on Colors Kannada, has been known to use the show as a platform to support awareness about various causes. This year, in the third season, the celebrity team participants will playoff each other to donate their earnings to 5-year old, Piyush, who is fighting leukemia. Piyush was diagnosed with Leukemia 3 months ago.
In the past two years, the winning team has donated their winnings to aide children suffering from various conditions. Pixel’s team, who is behind the format and production of the show, believes that entertainment should be accompanied with a sense of social responsibility.
Super Minute 3, hosted by Golden Star Ganesh, follows a new format, wherein celebrity teams will be competing against each other for the grand prize in a knock-out format. The teams include various Sandalwood celebrities such as Jagan C, Kavya Gowda, Niranjan, Anupama Gowda and Sheetal Shetty.

We have always believed in responsible entertainment, and wanted to use this platform to help the society eventually. Last season the winning team, comprising of Shine Shetty, Kavitha, Neha, Jeevan and Vijay, donated their winnings to help 10-year old, Amulya. Amulya, who suffered from congenital hearing loss. This year, we would like to help the adorable, little Piyush in fighting Leukemia. Through the show, we also hope to inspire others to help the people around them as well.”
The final play-off episode for Piyush’s cause will be aired around the 2nd week of April 2017, and the team winnings will depend on their performance through the season.
Super Minute is the Kannada adaptation of Shine International’s international game show, Minute to Win It. The contestants take part in a series of 60-second challenges that use objects that are commonly available around the house.
The show is hosted on Colors Kannada by famous actor Ganesh. It is one of the highest-TRP rated shows on Colors Kannada, and concluded its second season in 3rd July. The third season will be aired in 2017.
