A love story of a middle aged couple. Directed by Bela Sehgal (Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s sister) is different from the Shirin Farhad tales we have heard of. It isn’t a love story about teeny boppers or the handsome guy and a beautiful lady. This one is about the love story of a man and woman who appear to be in their forties. A new trend is witnessed in bollywood. If a film is an action oriented – it has to be a Sikh or a Punjabi family background. And the safest bet now is even if there is an undercurrent of humour although it is a love story; it has to be about Parsis. Thankfully, there is an attempt to portray the Parsi community, depicting realistic moments - just like they exist inIndia. Film Review As is clear in the title, this movie is about second marriage. This is the story about two single parents and their grown up son and daughter respectively. The grown up son of a widower father (Suneel Narang played by Mohit Chauhan) finds a life partner for his daddy in a divorced mother (Shoma Upadhyay played by Charu Rohatgi). Set against an urban background this story explores the complexities of human emotions which reflect in man-woman relationships.
