Haal-e-Dil, movie review
Haal-e-Dil is the dream launch of producer Kumar Mangat’s daughter Amita Pathak and her other two co-stars who also are debutants – Nakuul Mehta and Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan. The film directed by Anil Devgan is the story of Sanjana (Amita Pathak) who is in love with her rich classmate Rohit (Adhyayan Suman). The three new faces provide freshness to this visually rich movie filmed exquisitely at stunning locales. Where else can one enjoy the rich locales of Swiss Alps during the train journey to Shimla? Sanjana and Rohit study in the same college and are in love. She is on a train ride from Mumbai to Shimla. Shekhar (Nakuul Mehta), who is also a co-passenger and a flirt with a constantly roving eye, has a crush on Sanjana. Sanjana keeps glued to her novel (remember Kajol in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge?). It is love at first sight for Shekhar and like Shahrukh Khan in D ....

Hastey Hastey, movie review
The director’s attempt to make Hastey Hastey a youthful, musical, romantic comedy with a twist in the tale, has met with lukewarm response. We also have the three Rajpal Yadavs who “tries” to be funny but audience is not amused with this guy who keeps saying "dude" and starts running after every white-skinned girl. The film Hastey Hastey is about Neel (Jimmy Sheirgill), a brilliant student at Columbia University and the pretty Maya Fernandez (Nisha Rawal) the love of his life, are on the verge of starting a new life together in New York. Halla Bol is a honest story essaying a spoilt superstar who has come up the hard way. A shocking incident changes everything, rocking the superstar's lifestyle. His inner voice wakes him up… He is caught between his human self on one side and his corrupted superstar image on the other. Rajkumar Santoshi, the director attempts to tell you that corruption has become a part of our everyday life. However, a lone voice raised against injustice can multiply into millions progressively. Halla Bol, the film tells you that all's not lost, that honesty, integrity and courage still have an advantage. The House Next Door poster
Smart camera work coupled with impressive sound effects and deft editing makes this horror film a must watch for horror film lovers. Director Milind Rau who is also the co-writer of this quite engrossing daunting thriller made in Hindi, Tamil and Telgu has succeeded in giving pure frights to the viewer. Except for the stretched ending (it could have been made shorter) Milind has come up with a horror flick that is much above the Indian film industry standards. Giving a brief glimpse of the era prior to Indian independence the story revolves around a mansion somewhere in Himachal Pradesh that was occupied by a Chinese merchant dealing in silk imported from China. Immediately it is the current period shown in the adjacent house where a noted neuro surgeon Dr Krishnakanth (Siddharth) resides with his wife Lakshmi (Andrea Jeremiah) happy in their world. Just then they notice new neighbou ....

Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara - movie review
Here is a rom-com quite different from the ones we see these days. Shot extensively in the picturesque locales of Kashmir, Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara is a story of three couples who have their own point of views about life and when their thoughts collide, it's a Bull vs Matador fight to the finish for them. It is generally evident in the couples of urban cities of India where they are immersed in their own web of problems, relationships and social obligations. The real romance is missing in the lives of these 3 couples. One of them is a playboy, the other is a henpecked husband and the third is a mama's boy, enough to upset his wife. Tony Singh (Sahil Anand) is a perfect con artist when it comes to women has his lady love Pooja Mehta (Niyati Joshi) in a web of dreams around him. Rikki Dalwani's (Vikram Kochhar) life is a beach resort where he has this perfect wife Sanya Dalwani (Divya C ....
