Hulla, movie review
This energetic bittersweet comedy, more accurately perhaps - drama with a sense of humour, Hulla turns a contemporary eye on something that is taken too much for granted in Indian cities, especially Mumbai – private space. It’s about the clash between a stockbroker who is not allowed to sleep at night and a small-time trader who won’t let him (as the secretary of the building society they live in). This seemingly trivial, even laughable, problem eventually snowballs into disasters for both of them and their families, while unspooling the attitudes of people around them. Raj and Abha, a couple in their early-thirties, move into their new 2-bedroom flat in a Mumbai suburb. They are both very happy as only new home-owners can be in Mumbai. Since the flat is in a residential complex away from the bustle of the city and the main road, they both expect peace and quiet. Raj (Sushant ....

Haal-e-Dil, movie review
Haal-e-Dil is the dream launch of producer Kumar Mangat’s daughter Amita Pathak and her other two co-stars who also are debutants – Nakuul Mehta and Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan. The film directed by Anil Devgan is the story of Sanjana (Amita Pathak) who is in love with her rich classmate Rohit (Adhyayan Suman). The three new faces provide freshness to this visually rich movie filmed exquisitely at stunning locales. Where else can one enjoy the rich locales of Swiss Alps during the train journey to Shimla? Sanjana and Rohit study in the same college and are in love. She is on a train ride from Mumbai to Shimla. Shekhar (Nakuul Mehta), who is also a co-passenger and a flirt with a constantly roving eye, has a crush on Sanjana. Sanjana keeps glued to her novel (remember Kajol in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge?). It is love at first sight for Shekhar and like Shahrukh Khan in D ....

Hastey Hastey, movie review
The director’s attempt to make Hastey Hastey a youthful, musical, romantic comedy with a twist in the tale, has met with lukewarm response. Its a baby girl cuddled in a basket lying at their door-step with a note saying ‘ kutte kamine apne bachche ko sambhalo ’. You dogs, you have had much fun around. Now face it.
