Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai movie review
Bidding adieu to direction in Bollywood films, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is director David Dhawan's last film (as announced by him). Instead, this film falls much below expectations compared to David Dhawan's debut film Aankhen (highest grosser of 1993). Similarly it is nowhere near Biwi No 1, Shola Aur Shabnam, Saajan Chale Sasural, Haseena Maan Jaayegi and the long list of his super hit films. Probably planned as a energy booster to his son Varun Dhawan's career, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is about Jass (Varun Dhawan and Bani (Mrunal Thakur) who are a married couple yet have disagreements on family planning. This leads to their marriage falling apart. A professional marriage photographer, Jass moves abroad to start fresh and finds new romance, but things get complicated. Consequently the subject could have explored real relationship issues — but the film keeps things shallow. ....

Single Salms movie review
Single Salma is about a self sacrificing 30+ single woman who has dedicated her life for supporting her family. It is obvious from the film's title that the woman who is born and brought up in Lucknow is not married out of her choice. There are four film producers Alok Jain, Firuzi Khan, Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi and her brother Saqib Salem who have collaborated with Ajit Andhare. Directed by Nachiket Samant. The cast of Single Salma comprises of Huma Qureshi as Salma Rizvi, Sunny Singh as Meet Singh Sahni, Shreyas Talpade and Kanwaljit Singh as Salma's father. There are two contenders for Salma's marriage - Shreyas plays as Sikander Khan and Sunny Singh is Meet. To put the story in brief, Sikander approaches Salma with a matrimonial proposition and they almost hit it off. Until Salma has to visit London suddenly where she comes in touch with Meet and falls in love with him ....
