Aarti Khetarpal plays a significant part in the up and coming Film Kutub Minar and she has just one thing to say about the first day of her shoot with Sanjay Mishra, “I feel humbled to share the frame with my life’s inspiration Sanjay Mishra Sir.”
Being one of the few actors who starts shooting for a feature film after 7 months of the lockdown, Aarti Khetarpal joins the film along with veteran actor Sanjay Mishra, Karanvir Bohra, Minisha Lamba, Aditi Govatrikar and Tridha Chaudhary for the film Kutub Minar in Dehradun. Kutub Minar is a Slice of life film that revolves around real life stories of a rare disease. It was the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand who was the chief guest at the mahurat of the film that was held in the first week of October.
Commenting on her new outing and working with her inspiration actor Sanjay Mishra, Aarti Khetarpal shares, “I am really excited to begin shoot for Kutub Minar and facing the camera again after almost 7 months. It doesn’t feel like a ‘job’ when you are shooting with Sanjay Mishra Sir, rather it feels like you’re in a film school where every minute spent on set is a part of training. He is so effortless and chilled out that one just forgets the camera and the paraphernalia. It’s very rare to find a senior actor like him breaking down the shot for u even when he is done shooting his part for the day. I look forward to the rehearsals and impromptu improvisations with him before my shot”.
She further adds, ‘It’s a humbling experience!
The film Kutub Minar is a fun yet an immensely emotional film talking about a rare disease and the social stigmas around it. Directed by Raaj Aashoo, the film is produced by Pancham Singh.
