Sakshi Maggo from Delhi is roped in Welcome back with Anees Bazmee
Hailing from the capital city, Sakshi Maggo always dreamt of being an actor. Sakshi will be seen debuting in Firoz A Nadiadwala’s Welcome Back.
The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmi and it also stars John Abraham, Shruti Hassan, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar.
At heart, Sakshi says, she’s a Delhi girl. “I’m a typical West Delhi girl. My parents live in Subhash Nagar. I did my schooling from SKV and after that, I completed my graduation from Delhi University. I started my career as a model and done a music video with Javed Ali.Then I shifted to Mumbai to try my luck in Bollywood,”.
For Sakshi, hard work matters more than the presence of a godfather. “I don’t believe that you need a godfather to make a mark in Bollywood. I had no formal training in acting and I don’t come from a filmi background, but that didn’t stop me getting into Bollywood. It’s not a cakewalk but I am lucky to get this opportunity,” says Sakshi.
Talking about the movie’s schedule, Sakshi tells us, “The shooting for the movie has already begun and I am thrilled to be a part of it.”
