Main Actor Nahin Hoon movie review
Main Actor Nahin Hoon is an interesting film, almost like an appreciation of filmmaking. But I wouldn’t recommend it to the average viewer because it doesn’t have the usual 'masala'. Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes a bold leap in Main Actor Nahin Hoon, playing Adnan, a 55‑year‑old banker in Frankfurt who discovers that money can’t buy the satisfaction acting gives him. Produced by Aditya Kripalani along with Nawazuddin’s brother Faizuddin, the film is less about entertainment and more about the craft of performance. The story shows Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Adnan, struggling to cope with post‑retirement life. He meets Mouni (played by Chitrangada Shatarupa), an acting student and model, through a webcam audition. Their interactions form the heart of the story. Adnan feels he is not a good actor and asks Mouni to teach him acting. Mouni, meanwhile, lives in Bombay and sells ....

Daadi ki Shaadi movie review
Daadi Ki Shaadi is a comedy-family film directed by Ashish R Mohan, and stars Neetu Kapoor, Kapil Sharma and R Sarathkumar in pivotal characters. Neetu Kapoor shines as the grandmother, delivering a pleasant and charming performance that anchors the film. She is joined by popular comedian Kapil Sharma and actress Sadia Khateeb. The film also marks the acting debut of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni (daughter of the late Rishi Kapoor), who plays Vimla Ahuja’s youngest daughter. Her character rushes back to India, shocked and embarrassed by her mother’s decision, eventually joining the rest of the family in an attempt to stop the wedding. Veteran actress Tejaswini Kolhapure plays one of the key roles and performs well. Sharathkumar, from South Indian cinema, also plays an important character in his first Hindi film. The film is connected to Kapil Sharma, whose wife Ginni Sharma has p ....

Kalamanch the Web series review Drama
Experience the raw and unfiltered first episode of Kalamanch, where a group of strangers begins a simple acting class that quickly evolves into something much deeper. As their protective walls crack, vulnerabilities surface, and for some, this stage becomes the only space where they can truly be themselves. Eight strangers. One acting school. A journey none of them expected. Kalamanch isn't just about the craft of acting; it’s about confronting one's own truth. The series has already earned accolades as an official selection at various international film festivals, including the Tasveer Film Festival. It beautifully emphasises that acting is the ability to live truthfully under imaginary circumstances—where an actor is, at most, a poet and, at least, an entertainer. The Ensemble cast consists of a diverse range of characters to life. Hiten (Amit Poddar) is a young man obsess ....

Mauje Dariya movie review
Mauje Dariya is a vibrant Gujarati comedy-drama directed by Parry Majmudar that balances youthful ambition with lighthearted social commentary. The film serves as a poignant highlight of India’s young generation that is ambitious, hardworking, and willing to do what it takes to rise while learning valuable lessons along the way. The film follows a delivery boy who takes a risky job running alcohol (that is prohibited in the state) to fund his father’s surgery. The story takes a chaotic turn during a wealthy client’s party when a gunshot leads to mass unconsciousness and collective amnesia, leaving the characters to untangle a murder scheme amidst identity confusion. A standout element is its handling of alcohol prohibition in Gujarat. The script offers a sharp social critique by capturing the simmering frustration of a generation caught between Western lifestyle aspirations a ....

Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi movie review
It's ironical that these days, people sometimes regret even one marriage, but here, Durlabh Prasad is looking for a second marriage. And the story of Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi justifies it. Siddharth Raj Singh has directed this film that stars Sanjay Mishra and Shrikant Verma, besides them, you get to see Mahima Chaudhry after a long time. The new girl Pallak Lalwani and the young boy Vyom Yadav are promising actors. The story of Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi is very interesting and it doesn't appear cliched or monotonous. Vam Yadav plays the role of Murli, and Palak Lallwani plays the role of Mehak. You might get confused for a second, thinking that Palak Lalwani looks very much like Mrunal Thakur. They have a lot of similarities on the facial front. When Murli asks for Mehak's hand in marriage, Mehak's (Palak Lalwani's) family puts a condition that their daughter will not ....

Hi Zindagi movie reviw

Blending emotional drama with a socially urgent message, Hi Zindagi ignites a powerful conversation around the need to make India’s rape laws gender-neutral.

Directed by Ajay Ram and produced by lawyer-turned-filmmaker Sunil Kumar Aggarwal, the film boldly confronts a legal system that fails to recognize male victims of sexual violence—exposing the silence, stigma, and systemic gaps that surround their trauma.

Can men also be victims of sexual violence?

This is the haunting question Hi Zindagi raises through its unsettling narrative, inspired by real-life incidents. The film follows four affluent, carefree womenâ ....

Jolly LLB 3 movie review

Jolly LLB 3 opens with an oddly amateurish tone, featuring cringeworthy and implausible banter between its two Jollys—Arshad Warsi as Advocate Jagdish 'Jolly' Tyagi and Akshay Kumar as Advocate Jagdishwar 'Jolly' Mishra. Instead of sharp legal wit, we get courtroom comedy that feels more rehearsed than real.

When a powerful business group unveils grand plans to transform Bikaner into the next Boston, small farmers find themselves sidelined. Their legitimate demands are ignored, and force is used to suppress dissent. What begins as a development dream soon spirals into a controversy Read More

Bhool Chuk Maaf movie review by Filmytown.com
Bhool Chuk Maaf the film captures small-town romance between Ranjan and Titli. The girl's father sets a precondition that the boy should have a government job for which the boy resorts to help by bribing a middleman scamster for securing the job. Their romance blooms across the ghats, narrow streets of Benaras, Uttar Pradesh. Accepted, that it gives a realistic feeling but aren't there too many other films who have showcased the interiors of Uttar Pradesh. Where is the scenic beauty? We are bored watching the small streets and the nukkads of our interiors. Coming back to the story, much to Ranjan's horror, the scamster vanishes leaving him to a dead end when the boy takes a vow at Lord Shiva's temple to perform a noble deed if his wish is fulfilled. As Ranjan prepares for his wedding, a bizarre time loop occurs, with Titli being oblivious to it, repeatedly resetting the days bef ....

Emergency movie review
Kangana Ranaut makes an honest and sincere attempt to recreate one of the most significant and dreadful political events in India's history, Emergency imposed way back in 1975, with a profound impact on the nation. Director and lead actor Kangana Ranaut attempts to recreate this painful and tumultuous chapter of history on the big screen with a lot of clarity and wisdom. It is not easy to trace the genesis of a poignant era like Emergency in the country with fluidity but Kangana aces in her job not only as a writer but also as the producer and actor with effortless ease. The movie draws inspiration from Coomi Kapoor’s book The Emergency and also Jayanth Sinha’s Priyadarshini. The narrative starts in 1929 and spans four decades, covering India’s Independence, the Indo-China War and Assam crisis in 1962, Indira Gandhi’s rise to power, and the Indo-Pak war of 1971. While the f ....

Ghudchadi movie pic
Streaming on the OTT platform – JIO Cinema, the first mention of this movie Ghudchadi would bring a picture in the mind of that of a big fat Indian wedding. By the way Ghudchadi is a North Indian custom during the wedding celebrations, the groom comes riding on a white mare along with a procession towards the wedding venue, usually being the bride’s home or any place arranged by the bride’s family. However the 'band baaja and  baraat' arrives only at the fag end of the movie and this happens after a lot of rona dhona, an unraveling of a truth and a car accident. It starts as an innocent tale of a family who love and respect each other, consisting of three individuals – one is the grandma Kalyani Devi (Aruna Irani), her son Veer (Sanjay Dutt) and her grandson Chirag (Parth Samthaan). The grandma is keen to get her grandson married before she kicks the buck ....
