Muskurake Dekh Zara, movie review
Muskurake Dekh Zara is a story of a young 'boy man' named Vivek. It's a story of simple emotions & disappointments of love and life. Muskurake Dekh Zara movie review... Vivek (Gashmeer Mahajani) has an 'upright' attitude, and ability to put people in their place and add lightness into moody and mundane situations. He does this not only when he interacts with his life's love Preeti (Twinkle Patel) but also when he encounters and jests with the simple, funny and harmless folks - like the eccentric live in DLT (Duniya Lal Tripati), the 'badnaseeb' hotel manager Khaatkar, the curious curio shop owner Elton, the heroine's eternally inebriated Chaacha who feels that one's 'spirit' can be derived only from downing spirits. The film's lighter moments beautifully intersperse with the hero's portrayal of a character of depth. Vivek has his own unique yet simple way of looking at life. ....

City of Gold, movie review
Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar who directed the realistic film Vaastav, City of Gold takes another trip down memory lane. Just that this time around the result is a much more heart wrenching, soul stirring and shocking film about human avarice and apathy. Today, there is hardly anyone who has not visited the swanky shopping malls, nightclubs, lounge bars, clubs and other such lifestyle destinations that have sprung up across the central part of Mumbai. However, very few know that buried deep below these glittering edifices to consumerism lies the dark, dirty and painful reality of many thousands of mill workers who once worked in the cotton mills in this very same area. Rising and toiling to the wail of the mill sirens each and every day, seven days a week, these workers embodied the true unbridled zeal and unflagging spirit of the city and played a pivot ....

Phoonk 2, movie review
Fear is such a strong emotion that it defies all logic. Phoonk 2 justifies that. As small children we are scared of entering a dark room; somewhere further in life, we rather try and avoid isolated roads with no street lights. Whenever we shift into an apartment, the newness and emptiness of the place intrigues us in a strange manner. Infact we always fear the unknown. It is not just ghosts that we are scared of but there are times in our lives when a strange and inexplicable incident also scares the hell out of us. Phoonk 2 movie review... Phoonk the first part ended with the killing of Madhu, the woman who casts a black magic spell on Rajiv's daughter Raksha. Phoonk 2 begins with Madhu's (Ashwini Kaleskar) ghost returning from the grave to seek revenge on the family. On bagging a new construction project, Rajiv (Sudeep) moves with his family to a new place and the surroundings - ....
