Utt Pataang, movie review
Vinay Pathak, an established name in the ‘small’ films circuit plays a double role in this thriller Utt Pataang directed by Srikanth V. Velagaleti. Utt Pataang starts quite promisingly and is a thrilling comedy flick about several incidents occurring during a night. Utt Pataang isn’t a brainless comedy as the name suggests. Yet it has eccentric characters, nursing broken hearts and desperately longing for love. The film is basically an account of happenings on one particular night. Ram (Vinay Pathak) is a 35-year-old ordinary guy from Mumbai who has been ditched by his rough and foul-mouthed lady love Sanjana (Mahie Gill).. Nandu (Saurabh Shukla) is Ram’s friend a rather clueless, inept detective. While having dinner at a restaurant, Ram and Nandu meet Koyal (Mona Singh), a small-town girl who has been betrayed by her boyfriend. The cunning Nandu hooks up Ram with Koyal ....

Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji is a slice of life film about three men - Naren, Milind and Abhay and their encounters with love! Hostel, movie review
Few Indians are aware of the number of suicides that occur in Indian Hostels as a result of the phenomenon termed as ‘Ragging’. This sadistic practice has become a ritual wherein students are beaten up, stripped, paraded naked, starved, tortured, molested and even raped by their seniors. Hostel movie review... Since victims of ragging find it humiliating to report sexual abuse to their parents or others, most ragging-related crimes go unreported. Munnabhai MBBS and even 3 Idiots had a scene or two about this suffering which is called as ragging. Thus, this cruel practice continues year after year and has claimed (and is still claiming) the lives and careers of innumerable students. The film ‘Hostel’ is a shocking eye-opener about this evil practice and is a wake-up call for all of us. Karan (Vatsal Seth), gets into an engineering college and takes up lodging in the so-ca ....

Vikalp, movie review
Vikalp is an action thriller which talks cyber crime, hacking and terrorism. The title – Vikalp, which means “an option” in English, is a film which could have been an edge-of-the-seat thriller, but it isn’t due to average editing and an amateurish attempt in direction. Vikalp movie review... The film is about a docile, middle class girl from an orphanage, exceptionally talented Rishika Gandhi (Deepal Shaw) who is a sort of genius in the field of computer education. She works as a code developer in an established private IT (Information Technology) company in Mumbai. There is a serious goof up and she has to resign from her job. This Marathi medium background girl experiences turbulent times in her personal life too when her boyfriend's parents accuse her of using their son for seeking financial security. Hello Darling movie review... Three beautiful women teaming up together to take on their lustful womanizing boss in a hilarious series of events which in the end prove that Women will Rule! The film is a light comedy starring Gul Panaag, Eesha Koppikhar and Celina Jaitley as the three women and Jaaved Jaffrey as the boss. There are many Hollywood comedies on the subject of battle of the sexes but Hello Darling fails to make a mark. The screenplay and direction are a mish-mash of funny gags that simply don’t go down well. The story of Hello Darling is simple, a vice-president of a Mumbai based fashion house, Hardik Vasu (Javed Jaffrey), simply cannot keep his eyes off the women who work in his enterprise. ....
