Jackie Shroff plays Prakash Malhotra, the stylish loner who becomes a mentor-cum-friend with four youngsters who too are residents of the same society (building), a few of them have yet to fulfil their own desires in life.

Produced by Arushi Pandit – Chesta Pandit and directed by Divyansh Pandit, Raat Baaki Baat Baaki is about a night party being hosted by Prakash Malhotra, smart enough to con even the cops when they land up at his door in the middle of the night on the complaint of some resident living opposite his house.

Bhawsheel Singh Sahni, Semal Bhatt, Akshayt Nalawde and Rohit Lamba play the foursome who find it cozy to have booze and have fun with their favourite uncle in the society who has also saved one of them from his mothers firing for his wrong doings.

Raat Baaki Baat Baaki is a breezy narration of the happenings of one night when the youngsters leave aside their worries and tensions to converge upon this stylish ol’ man’s flat.

Out of curiosity, at one moment one of them enquires about the lone style icon of his family which leads to a flashback narration of the loss of his only son who is in armed forces and had laid down his life for the country. Having lost his wife long back, Prakash Malhotra was a father and a mother to his only lad.

This short film has funny moments, lively times of the foursome in their fav uncle’s house and a subtle message of not to forget your parents especially when you are a grown up adult since – no one knows what is to happen to any of us at the bend of the next turn of our life.

Raat Baaki Baat Baaki is worth a watch in particular for the style icon – apna suave and snazzy Jaggu Dada (Jackie Shroff) who is still brimming with magic and positivity.
