Besides the commercial success of all her films, she also earned critical acclaim specifically in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and then for her hot, earthy romantic performance in Goliyon Ki Raas Leela – Ram Leela.
Deepika, had her glories 2013 with 4 back to back successes celebrated her year with the family, friends and the film fraternity.
And why not? It was Race 2 at the very beginning of the year, followed it with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, then she followed it with Chennai Express, and then the super response received for her passionate performance in Ram Leela.
On Saturday the diva hosted a success bash at posh hotel in town. She guest list included all her co-stars, her directors, people she has worked with and all whom she knows.
The two Khans, Aamir and Shahrukh were present to support and celebrate Deepika’s success.
Among the young brigade of actors Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor were present at the event.
A number of directors came to support the young actress. Directors like Sooraj R. Barjatya, Ayan Mukherji, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Farha Khan, Kabir Khan, Subhash Ghai, etc where present.
The list also included Sohail Khan, Malika Arora Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Amrita Arora, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Kunal Roy Kapur, Amisha Patel, Farhan and Adhuna Akhtar, etc etc…
