Ikkis movie review
Ikkis is based on the real-life heroism of Arun Khetarpal, the Param Vir Chakra recipient who laid down his life just after turning 21. Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Binny Padda, Ikkis is a biographical war drama film based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and revolving around the Battle of Basantar during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film stars Agastya Nanda as Arun Khetarpal, Dharmendra (in his posthumous film debut) and Jaideep Ahlawat Arun Khetarpal's father M L Khetarpal (Dharmendra) goes to revisit those places after his son is dead. A brilliant film, but my only worry is that this kind of a film may not find audience as people are now saturated with war movies. Rather over-saturated. The story has war, action, emotions and is in a linear narrative about the war which happened at that time (the Indo-Pak war of 1971). ....

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri movie review
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri arrives with glossy packaging, a charming lead pair and postcard-perfect visuals of Croatia. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film promises romance and family drama but delivers a mixed bag—delightful in its first half and then a frustratingly illogical in its second. Ray (Kartik Aaryan) a wedding planner and Rumi's (Ananya Panday) chance meeting at an airport leads to camaraderie during a trip to Croatia, setting the stage for flirtation amid the postcard-perfect backdrop of Croatia. The narrative shifts from breezy rom-com to tackling taboo family values and generational expectations, aiming to balance entertainment with a social message. Kartik Aaryan is lovable as Ray, a wedding planner whose boyish charm and comic timing instantly win over the audience. He carries the breezy tone of the film with ease. Ananya Panday is ravishing, bringing f ....

Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi movie review
It's ironical that these days, people sometimes regret even one marriage, but here, Durlabh Prasad is looking for a second marriage. And the story of Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi justifies it. Siddharth Raj Singh has directed this film that stars Sanjay Mishra and Shrikant Verma, besides them, you get to see Mahima Chaudhry after a long time. The new girl Pallak Lalwani and the young boy Vyom Yadav are promising actors. The story of Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi is very interesting and it doesn't appear cliched or monotonous. Vam Yadav plays the role of Murli, and Palak Lallwani plays the role of Mehak. You might get confused for a second, thinking that Palak Lalwani looks very much like Mrunal Thakur. They have a lot of similarities on the facial front. When Murli asks for Mehak's hand in marriage, Mehak's (Palak Lalwani's) family puts a condition that their daughter will not ....

Dhurandhar movie review
Story telling at it's best, gradual and steady, Dhurandhar gets you hooked ... like reading an international thrilling bestseller. One requires patience to watch this spy action thriller till the end as it is virtually like reading a fictional novel. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the maker of Uri: The Surgical Strike, this Ranveer Singh actioner is a fictional narration of strategies and planning of several evil plans tailored by Pakistan (from that country's point of view) set against the backdrop of real-life geopolitical conflicts, including the IC‑814 hijacking (1999) and the Parliament attack (2001) and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks (2008). Dhurandhar follows the journey of a Punjabi youth (Ranveer Singh) held captive for committing a revenge-driven crime in his hometown. It is the Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal's design who crafts a daring mission to infiltrate and dismantle a ....

Tere Ishk Mein movie review
Tere Ishq Mein aims for grand emotional scope but overreaches with a meandering, illogical narrative that compromises believability. While the film puts its bets on emotional intensity and aesthetic spectacle, it falters in core storytelling, character consistency and pacing. With an illogical premise of the central character —an aspiring doctor conducting a thesis project on “controlling an angry person through counseling” that spirals into a romance—feels forced and cinematic to a fault. The film leans on far-fetched career twists (a vagrant to IAS officer to pilot) that undermine credibility and irritate viewers who crave internal logic. Characterisation leaves much to be desires with inconsistencies in Kriti Sanon’s dual role as researcher and love interest is muddled. The premise asks for a self-sacrificing, emotionally meticulous woman who simultaneously surrenders ....

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari movie review
The above titled movie is the latest offering from Dharma Productions, this is amply made known with Karan Johar himself putting in an uninspiring cameo as a marriage celebrity. Released on 2nd October 2025, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari  is now streaming on Netflix. Though it may suggest otherwise but the eponymous Sunny is not so 'sanskari' and Tulsi is not your average 'Main Tulsi tere angan ki' types. Like a rollercoaster it starts out as a fun flick then goes into conflict, then down to a tearjerker then again bouncing back for a happy ending. In current times love is just a 'situationship' until someone else comes along who attracts you so much that you will dump your love to marry a stranger, then explain it away as parental pressure. Then enter the ex-es wishing to break the newly formed alliance and reclaim what is theirs, they even have the gall to ask 'I hope you are n ....

In a single word, Mastiii 4 is - Atrocious. Elaborated, this adult comedy film is full of crass boggy humour offering you outdated gags and zero laughs. This franchisee is nowhere near the first part Masti and it just delivers more sickening feeling than comedy. Except for Riteish Deshmukh who puts up foolish looks quite naturally and acts like a weirdo (realistically), Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani overdo their parts and appear unreal. It is a pity to see such brilliant producers and the director who have come up with a film that is laden with toilet humor, loud performances and gags which have already been circulated in WhatsApp groups long time ago.

Franchise fatigue at its lowest standard

Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri who is also involved with the story and screenplay, the fourth installment in the adult comedy franchise reunite ....

120 Bahadur movie review
Directed by Razneesh Ghai, Farhan Akhtar plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in this historical war action film 120 Bahadur that documents and recounts the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Raashii Khanna plays Shagun Kanwar who is Shaitan Singh's wife. One develops a lump in the throat while watching the bravery of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati who valiantly put up a brave fight with mere 120 against repeated onslaught by over 3,000 Chinese soldiers in the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. "Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge!" was his war cry (We won't fall back).
