Vash Level 2, Hindi and Gujarati horror flick is a sequel to the 2023 Gujarati film Vash which was then remade in Hindi as 'Shaitaan' that featured Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyothika. The Hindi and Gujarati versions are released simultaneously. Unlike the usual Bollywood horror flicks, Vash Level 2 surprises you as it doesn’t rely on cheap thrills. Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Param Sundari is a romantic comedy film directed by Tushar Jalota that falls below expectations, particularly after watching it's exciting trailer. Param (Sidharth Malhotra) is a Punjabi boy who travels all the way to the South to meet Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor) with matrimony in view. It was through a matrimonial site that suggest Sundari would be a good match for this Punjabi boy. This premise sounds interesting but what comes later is disenchanting as Sundari’s guardian Bhargavan Nair (Renji Panicker) insists that she marry her childhood friend who is now a qualified doctor having graduated abroad and more so because he is of the same caste. Hrithik Roshan returns as Kabir, a secret agent like no other, who infiltrates a powerful global syndicate that wants to rule the world. The film War 2 sets out to feebly suggest that democracy is far too an outdated idea for the corporate villain. For a change, it promises to put Hrithik in a morally ambiguous space, but as the mood is jingoistic and the star wants to play safe, the not-so-secret sauce of the script is ‘nation first’. Dhadak 2 is a love story? Nah! It is a poignant conversation on privilege and what it means to have or not have it. Dhadak 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film by Shashank Khaitan and an official adaptation of the 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (also the name of the male protagonist) by Mari Selvaraj that sheds light on caste based atrocities (we have left discrimination in the rearview mirror at this point).
