Bhool Bhulaiya movie review
Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a hindi remake of a Malayalam super hit film - Manichitrathazhu, which has a better ending than the other Priyadarshan movies like Dhol, etc... Its a slapstick murder mystery which thankfully has buffoonery restricted only to the first half of the movie and that's tolerable. The second half really scares the audience, which apart from frightening, is also amusing and exciting. The movie begins with its usual slapstick comedy rendered by Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and the gang - without Akshay Kumar. It is acceptable since the story moves on alongwith the regular giggling moments. Bhool Bhulaiya has songs, comedy, suspense and spirits, and some portions are not for the faint hearted. The hit songs are Hare Krishna Hare Rama - which could have been included somewhere around Akshay Kumar's entry which would be more excitable. The other number on Shiny Ahuja and ....

Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is a fascinating blend of melodrama, feminist fairy tale and good music. Shivshankar Sahay (Anupam Kher), father of the two girls, is a retired Economics professor, who was denied pension, when he refused to accept some unfair terms. Its the story of fortunes of Badki (Rani Mukherjee) and Chutki (Konkona Sen Sharma), sisters from a 'khandani' Benares family which is saddled with money problems and predatory relatives. So the elder sister leaves to find work in Mumbai, eventhough having no diploma nor any work skills. Do all girls and boys all over rest of India think Mumbai as a sone ki nagri? Abhay Narula (Gautam) and Vasundhara Dave (Nisha Kothari) are neighbors and fall in love. They are from affluent families, their parents disapprove of their relationship and so they take off from their homes and rush towards Goa. Go movie review continues.... Everything was easy and beautiful until their motorbike breaks down. They get a lift by the injured Chief Minister's Personal Assistant who is fleeing the city since he has the audio cassette which proves that the CM is responsible for his deputy's murder. This injured PA to the CM dies on the way. Its adventure in the rains, dancing around, and running away from the killers who want the cassette at any cost. Chhodon Naa Yaar is the story is about a bhatakti aatma and how she continues to haunt a temple and the surrounding jungles. These guys go through all the spheres of film making, posing as actors, participating in an item song for a film and their aspiration is to become film-makers.
