One Day- Justice Delivered movie review
Indian Civil and Criminal Laws need to be revisited. This is what is the undertone of the crime-suspense thriller ONE DAY - Justice Delivered that is directed by Ashok Nanda. The films begins with the retirement farewell event of Justice Omprakash Tyagi (Anupam Kher). The judge has an impeccable record of being upright and delivering honest judgements. Yet the age-old Indian Criminal laws are exposed to several loopholes which are manipulated by the criminals who are advised by their 'smart' lawyers. One slap by an elderly lady awakens the inner spirits of this retired judge who now revisits his earlier cases where the judgement is delivered, yet the actual criminals and the perpetrators of the crime still move around freely in the society. RESCUE - is a fresh approach to story telling in Bollywood. This dark comedy thriller is about three Medical students - Honey, Ayesha and Meera.  Rescue movie review... Though the film is a fiction, the story is based on a true incident that occured sometime back in a town of Maharashtra. Honey (Sreejita De), Ayesha (Megha Sharma) and Meera (Ishita Ganguly) have approached an estate agent Jatin (Rahulganesh Thulsiram) for renting PG accommodation in Mumbai. Jatin shows them a flat in a multi-story building which they approve and start residing in it. Picky about every facility that was promised to them, the girls point out to the broker about the absence of cooking gas cylinder and several other things which needed to work properly. Writer-Director Pankaj Kr Virat's NAUGHTY GANG is the story of a group of young boys who want easy money and quick success, no matter even if they tread the wrong path to achieve it. Naughty Gang movie review... Naughty Gang is humourous in parts, while the rest of the film seems to be a confusing journey with quite a few moments making you itch for a loo break. The film begins with Ballu shown as the pampered (by his mother) brat who is often scolded upon by his father to mend his ways even while the boy is studying in the school. Nakkash movie review
Varanasi (Benaras) is the backdrop of Nakkash which is actually an offbeat film that succeeds in conveying the writer-director's message that the supreme power, whether you call it as God or Allah; it doesn't differentiate between religions. There are dialogues such as Bhagwan is Allah's brother and the other one is that spoken by the protagonist - to have been born in the holy city of Varanasi is in itself a privilege. Thankfully, the director of Nakkash doesn't resort to depicting the gory violence between the two communities, yet the differences between them are honestly and subtly portrayed... unlike the political leaders of the Hindus and Muslims who play their cards subtly and wolfishly to keep the differences alive so as to keep their "dukaan jaari" (to fructifully carry on their respective business). Sometimes the new age ideals, sometimes the age old Indian tradition. This is what De De Pyaar De shuttles all through its 135 minutes running time. The writer wants to keep the new generation happy with his ideas of the father readily accepting his daughter's view to have a live-in relationship before her marriage. To understand the movie - Avengers: Endgame, one has to rewind into flashback of all the previous marvel superhero movies to check in which period did the ‘infinty’ stones pop up in each of them. Avengers: Endgame movie review...
