Shoolin Pictures maiden venture – Gift @ Coffee Shop is being produced by Vijendra Sahni, Harsh Kava & Rishi Hinduja.
Location was at Hotel Sea-N-Rock situated between exotic hills and forest of Godhbundar near Chena Kreek.
The entire lawn of the hotel including its poolside was blooming with lights of shooting. A rain dance was going to be picturised.
Producer Vijendra Sahni who was earlier associated with Zee was in search of a good script, found it in a subject written by Abhishek Mehrotra, and he did not gave it a second thought he immediately finalized it, when asked about justification of its title “Gift @ Coffee Shop” Sahni said the film starts from a Coffee Shop and ends in a Coffee Shop,
Sahni is producing this film in a corporate way and he is hoping to have some corporate companies to be with his production house by release date, in fact he already has Red Bull company with him.
Producer Rishi Hinduja a professional crime lawyer and also brother in law of Vijendra Sahni was also impressed by the subject that he decided to be with his cousin and that’s how a crime lawyer plunged into production company.
Producer & Director Harsh Kava who was earlier associated with a hindi film “404” in 2011 as Art director & Production designer also a close friend of his partners said that this film is based on practical life.
It revolves around any common man, film’s duration is one and half hour, this hilarious film revolve around Parvin Dabbas who is married but his wife is not shown on screen she only comes on Parvin’s mobile and Parvin who was a Casanova before marriage is fed up of his wife, he gets back his previous girlfriend Shivangi Mehra in his life, now entire story revolves around them, Harsh Chhaya is trouble shooter for Parvin, what happens next should be watched on big screen.
Parvin Dabas often known as Parvin Dabbas is an actor and model also directed a film Sahi Dhande Galat Bande which was produced by his wife Preeti Jhangiyani. He is a Jat from Delhi started his carrier from Dillagi went through The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara and Khosla Ka Ghosla for which he won acclaim is now excited about his Casanova character in “Gift @ Coffee Shop” and feels that this film will be a turning point in his carrier.
Harsh Chhaya who started his carrier from mega tv serial Tara, later on acted in Fashion, Mithya, Corporate, Laga Chunari Mein Daag and Company was always in search of a different type of role, because approximately in every film he is being portrayed as serious character, when Producer Vijendra Sahni offered him “Gift @ Coffee Shop” he couldn’t say no as he was playing role of trouble shooter for Parvin Dabbas, this character is playing jolly type of man in movie who solves all problem in hilarious way.
The upcoming Bollywood film Gift @ Coffee Shop has music by Vishwajeet R.B. choreography by Piyush Panchal, Cinematography by Uttam Dhakal, editing by Shailesh Bharti, ex. Producer Anand Upadhyay and other cast are Shivangi Mehra & Mukesh Bhatt.
