Raavan, movie review
Was Raavan just a myth… the line that divides Good from Evil...? Dev Pratap Sharma (Vikram) is a DSP who falls in love with Ragini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), a spunky classical dancer. The cop and the dancer girl get married and the DSP is posted in a small town Lal Maati in northern India. Raavan movie review... Beera (Abhishekh Bachchan), is the law in this a tribal town, who is feared somewhat yet respected and loved by most of the tribals. It is only when the DSP Dev who tries to bring order in this area, and when he metes out inhuman treatment to Beera, it sets a chain of unexpected events which claim lives. Hurt and enraged, Beera, hits back at the Police force, which results in classes which draw Beera, Ragini and Dev which takes them into the deep, dense jungles. The tension between opposites often seems so electric, that it isolates them from the rest of the world, ....

Jodhaa Akbar, movie review
Ashutosh Gowariker's film is a magnum opus though the only flaw being its 3 and half hours long! Jodhaa Akbar is a sixteenth century epic romance story, the most ambitious hindi film with heavy doses of electrifying drama and wide canvas battle sequences. It's a dream all throughout whether it is large scale action sequences or the romance, and the beautiful landscapes of Rajasthan and even the torch and candle lit interiors of Agra fort. When Akbar accepts the marriage proposal, little does he know that in his efforts to strengthen his relations with the Rajputs, he would in turn be embarking on a new journey - the journey of true love. From the battlefield where the young Jal ....

Jazbaa - movie review
An edgy thriller based on the South Korean film Seven Days (2007), Jazbaa is a pacy film with a taut screenplay, yet there are a few over-dramatic scenes which seem a little out of place.

Jazbaa movie review

Sanjay Gupta's characters are shown as the separated families, a single mother, a separated mother whose daughter has been murdered, a single cop who suddenly crops up from anywhere for the single-mother-lawyer whose daughter has been kidnapped. The film is replete with one liners. Like this one, "Rishton mein Bharosa aur mobile mein network na ho toh log gama khelne lagte hein." Jazbaa is about Anuradha Verma, the iron lady, who melts down when her daughter is abducted by the kidnappers who want Anuradha to take up the case to represent a rapist killer who is convicted of murder. Her school friend is the just suspended Inspector Yohan a competent, crafty cop who is ....
