Zor Lagaa Ke Haiya, movie review
Zor Lagaa Ke Haiya is a film that carries a social message of saving the environment in the present age of rampant industrialization where money talks. Mithun Chakraborty is a homeless man who joins hand with a bunch of children to save a tree that faces the axe from a man who wants to bring brick and mortar in place of the tree’s lush green canopy. Zor Lagaa Ke Haiya movie review... We must have observed certain areas in our vicinity, which once had fine healthy trees and lots of greenery just some time back – now lay barren with cemented roads or just new construction coming up. This is often witnessed even at many spots on our city roads – with mindless cutting of trees often making way for display of hoardings or then just for road widening. And the aam aadmi is going on with his life with an indifferent attitude. What a shame! Now its up to the children who are our fu ....

Zanjeer is an action film directed by Apoorva Lakhia, which marks the Bollywood debut of Tollywood actor Ram Charan in the lead role as the cop, along with Priyanka Chopra an NRI on a visit to friends wedding in Mumbai, and a witness to a murder. Before we go further, if this remake is compared to the original Zanjeer (Amitabh and Jaya), then it would be wise to rate it as 2/5 stars. As there is no one to match the intensity and angry young man looks of Amitabh few decades ago. There should be no comparison with the 1973 film with the iconic Amitabh and Pran as Sher Khan. Watching the film as the new generation would view it, this one has all the action and fun expected in a Bollywood film. Scene to scene copying of the original one would have made it a serious action film. Coming back to the story, Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijay Khanna (Ram Charan) is a brutally honest police ....

Zila Ghaziabad appears to be inspired from the super hit action features Omkara and Dabangg. Any occasion is greeted by trigger-happy gangsters. The film is filled with vendetta, gravity defying stunts, slitting throats, pumping bullets and the story begins with unnecessary use of action like exploding bombs in a song sequence as Arshad Warsi returns to Ghaziabad. We have two rival groups, led by the local Chairman (Paresh Rawal) and Rashid (Ravi Kissen), respectively whose henchmen are active in gang war sort of incidents. Chairman has a soft corner for Satbir (Viv ....
