Dam 999 - movie review
Dam 999 is a film to watch in a 3 Dimensional format. Only disappointment here is that the 3 D effects are just peppered somewhere in between and then the special effects come to play in the last 20 minutes of this film. It is produced by UAE based BizTV Networks and the direction and script is credited to upcoming director Sohan Roy, who is primarily an established mariner with a Guinness Book record to his credit. Dam 999 movie review... The film is based on real life incidents bringing to life the memories of 1975 Banqiao Dam disaster in China which claimed the lives of an estimated 250,000 people. Pammi Somal has written and directed the film Na Jaane Kabse which is as a family entertainer starring a newbie actor Garry Gill and vivacious Amrita Prakash. Amrita was seen as a child artist in Tum Bin, and more recently in Vivah. We have another typical Bollywood love story here. A 'self made' bartender-turned-resort's managing director falls for a librarian. But the fact is that the girl is from a rich family and her dad father owns a bigger resort, where the girl works in the library.
