Sai Baba the revered Saint and Spiritual Guru always guides his disciples through their troubles. This film is not a docu-drama on the life of Sai Baba like the earlier films, rather it delves into the relationship between a devotee and ‘Sai Baba’. It talks about the teachings of Saibaba and its increasing relevance in today’s world and how his principles can form the basis of an ideal society. Sudhir Dalvi, who is known for playing ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’ on the screen is essaying the revered saint. Dhondiram (Mukul Nag) is a Sai Baba devotee and hence Baba gives him frequent darshans. Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho, film review
A political satire loosely based on a real event in Rajasthan, in which a high court sentenced a boy to jail for allegedly raping a buffalo. Debutant Director Vinod Kapri's film is set somewhere in Haryana instead, and thats the reason that the film has a mix of Hindi and Haryanvi dialogues. The film opens on a colorful beginning, in a rustic 'mela' (village fair) with surprises all around. A pundit claiming to bring a Goddess to life in the form of a young girl sitting on a chair in a static blessing posture. The villagers seem to be convinced. Other attractions include, apart from the stand giant wheels, merry-go-round, a sensuous item song "Naach Basanti" and the a beauty competition of buffaloes.
