Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 movie review
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 released on 2nd of November is a of the franchise genre started with Akshay Kumar with one ghost then in the second movie with Kartik Aryan taking over the reins we where presented with possibility of a dual ghost scenario and now in the third one we have to juggle with a triple ghost scenario, my God! What a waste of ghosts or is it only one ghost and we see three. The movie is supposed to be a ghost comedy which we are supposed to enjoy but it appears the comedy is on us. The three cartoon characters from previous movie the chota pandit, the bada pandit and the lady pandit are repeated for no reason at all. The first film with Akshay Kumar was an intellectual cult film directed by Priyadarshan. The team of the second and third franchise have hit the bedrock. Kartik Aryan has been acting in films which have no meaning at all, very.. very disappointing. How come V ....

The Buckingham Murders movie review
As the name suggests this thriller, The Buckingham Murders has been shot in Great Britain. It involves a sensitive investigation of a child's murder. Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character Jasmeet Bhamra the investigating officer who herself is grieving from the recent loss of her child in a senseless shootout is asked to handle this case despite her resistance in the beginning though she is slowly drawn into its web. The end is shocking when the actual perpetrators are unveiled but not before one more murder is committed. That was the premise of the movie now let's talk about the layers within it like the quintessential Hindu - Muslim animosity which within the Indian/Paki immigrant community spills over the English landscape and as the Police chief remarks ‘Over a mere cricket match’, then there is the angle about kids having access to drugs, about a failed marriage or how Indian br ....

Boonie Bears - Guardian Code movie review
Boonie Bears Guardian Code is one film that the parents can comfortably take their primary school kids to cinema theatres. It's not mere animation that should resonates well with the Indian audience but the film has that emotional connect of the kids with their mothers. The film should interest the children as it has been strategically released during the summer vacation in schools. It's Hindi dubbed version - Boonie Bears Mumma Ki Khoj has simultaneously been released in cinema halls across India.
This 11th feature film from the Boonie Bears animated franchise is the story of 2 lovable Bear Cubs Briar & Bramble who have been living happily with their mother Barbara in the forest of Crystal Peaks until a devastating fire separates them from their mother. What is charming in the scenes in the beginning having adorable voice overs by Siobhan Lumsden for y ....

Ajay Devgn in Bholaa
At the outset, let me warn you that this film is man adaptation of the Karthi starrer Kaithi. Right from the first frame till the last, the film abounds with excessive violence and gory scenes. Bholaa (Ajay Devgn), an absentee father waiting to unite with his daughter, is the protagonist, a man of very few words, who shows all his angst and pain through his eyes, in the film.Bholaa channels his inner rudra avatar to fight like a fearless warrior and battles a horde of gangs, right from bike-driving baddies to well-greased, kachcha-sporting villains, to remove all the obstacles that come in the way of him meeting his daughter. Bholaa, who is released from then prison after 10 years, is desperately waiting to meet his daughter for the first time, but IPS officer Diana Joseph (Tabu) leaves him with no choice but to help her in a high-pressure situation that involves the drug mafia, the c ....

The Big Bull Movie review
A film believed to be inspired by the Harshad Mehta story starting in the late eighties of the last century. The Big Bull movie review... There is no doubt that Harshad was the original Big Bull of Stock markets in India and who knows if he would have been left to his tools, he could not only have been the first billionaire from India but could also have been in company of Warren Buffett for all we know. The movie Big Bull is now streaming on Disney Hotstar. This one can be given a skip, no offense meant to Abhishek fans, he has tried really hard to put in his best. Enough about the man because the story digresses from the topic several times in the movie it seems that the director though wanted to tell Harshad's story but in the same breath also tries to distance away from it. That's the reason why the names and many incidents in the story have been tweaked and some have totall ....

Bahut Hua Sammaan movie review
With lockdown still on in certain places like restaurants, malls, multiplexs and specially Cinema Houses, there has been a torrent of releases on the web platform or OTT as it is called, both in form of new web series as well as new movie offerings like Bahut Hua Sammaan. This is now the new norm to keep us all busy during this slowdown period and also keep them entertained. Though some big releases are still being held back for hopefully a full theatrical release later this year. While some of these OTT offerings are run-of-the-mill, some outright boring, some gripping and some entertaining . Latest in this sequence is the film- Bahut Hua Samman on Disney-Hotstar. An innocuous movie you might think, it seems that it was complete with them for some time and then they realised it's time to take it out of the bag. Released on 2nd October Bahut Hua Sammaan is a satire on the current soci ....

Bees Saal Baad 1962
The first genuine murder mystery bordering horror made in Bollywood by a debutante director Biren Nag, Bees Saal Baad was basically of the suspense or psychological thriller genre. It was produced by the famous singer and music director Hemant Kumar, who has also sung some fantastic songs in the movie. Bees Saal Baad had launched the career of actor Biswajeet in Hindi movies. The male cast is shown well dressed to the extent that the normally obese looking Asit Sen too looks dapper as the detective. It was adapted and reinterpreted in the Indian context from the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novel of Sherlock Holmes “Hounds of Baskervilles”. It tried and recreated similar settings as in the novel, a family palatial mansion, an eerie setting, a background story, a misty swamp and a story of revenge and of course love. All the characters are shown suspicious looking, right from the Doctor, ....

Bobby (1973)
Bobby was released on 28 September 1973 and was an instant hit amongst the Young India of the time. Teenage love stories were hitherto unseen on the Indian screens. That too with absolutely fresh faced youngsters actually acting their own age. This movie launched the careers of both Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. Though it was planned with Rajesh Khanna in mind but as Raj Kapoor who was also it's Producer and Director and whose Mere Naam Joker had bombed badly on the silver screen, he is said to have not been able to afford Rajesh thus he launched his own son Rishi instead. Rest is now history. Bobby's fresh faced stars became the USP of this movie. Indian cinema was looking for fresh faces and they got them here.
