A Priceless Diamond is up for Grabs… (Cash movie review)
An amazing heist has taken place… The payment is made… The buyer is waiting… Then things go horribly wrong…
Marked notes lead to a trail of cold blooded murders and ruthless double cross. As treachery rears its ugly head…. the game guns vicious…
First everybody was fighting for the diamond. Now they are fighting for something even more precious – their lives…
The rules of the game are clear – The winner will take it all. The loser will lose it all, even his life. Nobody’s to blame but everyone will pay the price.
The movie starts with introductions of its cast with flip-flops into animation of the action scenes which supposedly have been done by the actors themselves. A bit of progress, and then again some another character being introduced with an action scene, zoomed into, and turned into a rough cartoon with bizarrely recoloured hair. Its Riteish Deshmukh’s cartoon character which suddenly goes bright blonde and does he look handsome… This happens quite often and makes one wonder if the director was short of shooting time ? which reduces the spectacular stunt scenes into mere cartoons..
Ajay Devgan is in love with a cop in South Africa – Shamita Shetty who till the end is unaware of his actual work. She is made to understand that he is just a writer and nothing else. Anyway, in the underworld scene Ajay known as Doctor, collects experts – Ritesh Deshmukh, Esha Deol, Zayed Khan for a well planned heist.
Diya Mirza and Suniel Shetty too are in the plot.
Three diamonds, six people, and lots of gun-fires around.
This film is extensively shot in South Africa, some scenes eye pleasing photography too being good, but the intentional tint throughout the film snatches the scenic beauty of the country. The director has given more importance to the outdoor locales, hi-tech stunts in this movie which has thin storyline.
