Kartavya movie review
Kartavya, the movie shares only the name with the 70's Dharmendra classic, now comes with a new story and star cast frontlined by Saif Ali Khan released on Netflix on 15th May with a crisp timing of 1 hour and 49 minutes. Story of a conscientious cop, though based in a fictional town Jhamli a place in MP however the lingua-franca used by the characters appears as a cocktail of East Delhi, Haryanvi and Rajasthani dialects. Consequently, forget woh sab, coming back, the theme is equally perplexing, the plot revolves around Babas and Khap panchayats, a dated concept which even the main stream regional media gives a pass. Though the movie does have its moments as it is well paced, guns are used as functional narrative tools rather than over-the-top glorification and the dialogues remain concise instead of dragging into long, pre-kill monologues—a refreshing change for modern Hindi ci ....

Ek chatur naar movie review
The eponymous name of the movie Ek Chatur Naar, has been derived from the song of the movie Padosan, however it has no further bearing than that on this movie storyline. This 2025 movie that is a duel of cleverness, vigilance and prudence has been released on Netflix. It is about a cat and mouse game between the haves and the have nots the good and the evil, the slum dwellers vis-a-vis the rich and famous. Beginning with a high-end phone theft and culminating in a kidnap climax, it has a lot going for it in-between. The story is simple yet has a lot of twists and turns, what with both sides trying to outdo each other. A legit conman Niel Nitin Mukesh who is a conduit through whom the state CM siphons off government funds, is conned, and who calls him out at his own game. Bhool Chuk Maaf the film captures small-town romance between Ranjan and Titli. The girl's father sets a precondition that the boy should have a government job for which the boy resorts to help by bribing a middleman scamster for securing the job. Their romance blooms across the ghats, narrow streets of Benaras, Uttar Pradesh. Accepted, that it gives a realistic feeling but aren't there too many other films who have showcased the interiors of Uttar Pradesh. Where is the scenic beauty? We are bored watching the small streets and the nukkads of our interiors. Coming back to the story, much to Ranjan's horror, the scamster vanishes leaving him to a dead end when the boy takes a vow at Lord Shiva's temple to perform a noble deed if his wish is fulfilled.
