Hastey Hastey, movie review
The director’s attempt to make Hastey Hastey a youthful, musical, romantic comedy with a twist in the tale, has met with lukewarm response. We also have the three Rajpal Yadavs who “tries” to be funny but audience is not amused with this guy who keeps saying "dude" and starts running after every white-skinned girl. The film Hastey Hastey is about Neel (Jimmy Sheirgill), a brilliant student at Columbia University and the pretty Maya Fernandez (Nisha Rawal) the love of his life, are on the verge of starting a new life together in New York. Sunny Malhotra (Rajpal Yadav) is Neel's roommate, teammate and conscience. Academically challenged and a compulsive flirt, he gets involved in a series of hilarious situations with his American love Tina (Sarah Thomas). Krazzy 4, movie review
Jaideep Sen's directorial debut, which is produced by Rakesh Roshan is about four madmen having peculiar personalities, being taken out for a change, finally involved in a kidnapping plot. As projected in it promos, it was supposed to have "humor in abundance" in the film Krazzy 4, unfortunately it barely has any genuine funny situations. Krazzy 4 is the story of four mental patients - Raja (Arshad Warsi) who is temperamental, Daboo (Suresh Menon) who can't speak, Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan) is a cleanliness freak with a compulsive disorder for neatness. Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav) who thinks that he still lives in a bygone era of the pre-independence days. The pretty doctor - Sonali (Juhi Chawla) believes in treating her patients with love and understanding. Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa, movie review
Debutante director S. Chandrakant attempts to weave humor in the plot which leaves the movie light hearted, that is Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa. Santosh (Rajpal Yadav) is a disillusioned man, single-n-looking in search of a perfect wife who can be humble and ideally carry all his orders well. He marries to Shanti (Neha Dhupia) who is a small town girl but later finds that Shanti is not the one who he had desired. This marriage was fixed with the help of his neighbors Mr and Mrs Khurana (Anupam Kher and Rati Agnihotri) with a positive attitude. Later on it is this senior couple who have to bear with petty differences and trivial clashes between this newly married couple. Shanti too, is unhappy with her husband's attitude and this is not what she had yearned for. Abhay Narula (Gautam) and Vasundhara Dave (Nisha Kothari) are neighbors and fall in love. They are from affluent families, their parents disapprove of their relationship and so they take off from their homes and rush towards Goa. Go movie review continues.... Everything was easy and beautiful until their motorbike breaks down. They get a lift by the injured Chief Minister's Personal Assistant who is fleeing the city since he has the audio cassette which proves that the CM is responsible for his deputy's murder. This injured PA to the CM dies on the way. Its adventure in the rains, dancing around, and running away from the killers who want the cassette at any cost. A social family drama with Daisy Shah playing the lead role of Ratan, a modern day girl with a forward thinking attitude and behavior but is still deep rooted in the Indian culture. The film revolves around her right till the end. Ratan is married to the boy of her choice - Ram (Rishi Bhutani) who seems to reciprocate Ratan's love for him. But this happiness seems to be short lived as Ratan gets to know that Ram is a playboy who flirts and dates other girls. A hilarious film centered around two pivotal characters – Farooque a cabbie & William the conman. A third funny character Sunderlal (a villager) who comes to Mumbai in search of a job gets involved with them in a strange situation.
