Mere Baap Pehle Aap, movie review
Comedy specialist director Priyadarshan has come out with another not so great comedy story about a widowed father and his authoritarian son - Mere Baap Pehle Aap. The director who has produced good comedies like Hera-Pheri and Malamaal Weekly comes up with just an average entertainer. Anyway, good performances and the dialogues add fizz to the story. It is the story of an authoritarian son (Akshaye Khanna) who bosses his long-widowed father (Paresh Rawal) about living away the remaining years of his life like a decent old gentleman. But the father, well under the influence of his lusty old friend (Om Puri), is inspired to relive his youth again and marry his childhood sweetheart (Shobhana). And even as the son falls in love with a girl (Genelia D'Souza) who troubles him perpetually, he is worried more about his father’s marriage than his own. Mere Baap Pehle Aap opens with a dre ....

No smoking movie review
The movie begins with the hero K (John Abraham) having nightmares. He is a heavy smoker and an unapologetic one at that because he's a stubborn and obnoxious guy, who does exactly what he wants His disgruntled wife Anjali (Ayesha Takia) is fed up with his habit and is all set to leave him. The trouble begins and we have K, in his bathtub, having a surreal dream of being lost in Siberia without his cigarettes. No Smoking review read further... "What do you want for our anniversary?" asks the arrogant husband admiring himself smoking, while his wife looks though him and utters- "Divorce". Want a cure to divorce? The better quit smoking. The movie has parallels to "Kafka" and Steven Spielberg's "Schindler's List". Hallucinogenic images are portrayed amidst a deluge of cryptic dialogues. The narrative plays a dismaying mind-game where the smoker-hero gets trapped in a sewage underbell ....

Bhool Bhulaiya movie review
Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a hindi remake of a Malayalam super hit film - Manichitrathazhu, which has a better ending than the other Priyadarshan movies like Dhol, etc... Its a slapstick murder mystery which thankfully has buffoonery restricted only to the first half of the movie and that's tolerable. The second half really scares the audience, which apart from frightening, is also amusing and exciting. The movie begins with its usual slapstick comedy rendered by Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and the gang - without Akshay Kumar. It is acceptable since the story moves on alongwith the regular giggling moments. Bhool Bhulaiya has songs, comedy, suspense and spirits, and some portions are not for the faint hearted. The hit songs are Hare Krishna Hare Rama - which could have been included somewhere around Akshay Kumar's entry which would be more excitable. The other number on Shiny Ahuja and ....

Post the IPO it would make LK’s company one of the largest business houses in the country. And ofcourse a lot of money within his family too. However, LK dies a night before the IPO opens in the market. This leads to series of erroneous events. A holy spiritual man, by Vidyuth Baba (Om Puri) advices LK’s family to hide the news of his death for the next two days, till the time the application money for the shares would be received. In the process of hiding LK’s death, the family undergoes a lot of dramatic, sudden and some funny events. Raja Natwarlal Movie Review
Emraan Hashmi is back in a character as a street smart conman which he played in Jannat and Jannat 2. His recent ones Ghanchakkar and Ek Thi Daayan were a complete departure from the commercial Emraan Hashmi films. They were for the niche audience. Raja (Emraan Hashmi) makes money tricking people in the Three Card Monte. He is aided by his friend Raghav (Deepak Tijori), who solicits 'targets' and induces them to bet bigger. Part of the money is used for helping kids to pay their school fees. Balance of the amount is 'blown' up on Ziya (Humaima Malick) in a dance bar. Raghav has brought him up in life and treated Raja like his younger brother. Raja's greed to make a quick buck lands him in a mess while trying their hand in a 'bada daav' (big game).
