Dhoom Dadakka is about Mungilal (Anupam Kher) losing his standing as the top don of Mumbai at the All Asia Mafia Meet since he doesn't have an heir. This opens up the field for Mungilal's arch nemesis Fursat Lala (Gulshan Grover) and his son, Zac who meets the decided requirement of the bhais of All Asia Mafia Meeting. Way back in the 1970s, Mungilal was once a small time Bhai in Mumbai. Jignesh (Satish Shah) was his friend cum business advisor. That time the law-enforcing authorities turned the heat on crime, corruption and the Bhais in Mumbai, so these two fled to Bangkok. Apna Asmaan movie review
Ravi (Irfaan Khan) and Padmini (Shobhana) are happily married. Apna Asmaan is about how they share a strained relationship due to their teenage son Buddhi's (Dhruv Piyush Panjnani) intellectual handicap. Buddhi, a mildly autistic slow learner displays his flair for art but his parents, with their middle-class insecurities, neither recognize nor encourage his talent. Buddhi is good at drawing but his mother wants him to be good at mathematics, as she was a gold medalist herself. Seeing her son is not like other normal children, she takes him to temples, churches and babas, hoping for a miracle. Buddha Mar Gaya is all about money and its side effects. Laxmikant Kabadiya (Anupam Kher) is a business tycoon, whose company is on the verge of offering an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Rs 5000 crore. Post the IPO it would make LK’s company one of the largest business houses in the country. And ofcourse a lot of money within his family too. However, LK dies a night before the IPO opens in the market. This leads to series of erroneous events. Set on a lavish canvas about Royals residing in palaces and forts, this film directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya is strewed with goody characters preaching ethical ways of living a goody life. The family drama is about a dreamy world set in the era of Kingdoms and consisting of obedient sons, 'agyakari' women where Yuvraj Vijay Singh (Salman Khan) a prince of Pritampur, who is soon to be crowned as king and is engaged to princess Maithili (Sonam Kapoor). Does this awaken memories of Shammi Kapoor's 'Prince' or the much later Anil Kapoor's 'Rajkumar' and dozens of ficticious Raj Gharana Bollywood films.
