Teen Thay Bhai - movie review
Rakesh Omprakash Mehra who had made outstanding movies like Aks, Rang De Basanti and Delhi 6 has produced this funny film ‘Teen Thay Bhai’ which is about three brothers and their love-hate relationship is directed by debutant director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. It has an interesting star cast like veteran actors like Om Puri & Deepak Dobrial who are supported by the young and talented Shreyas Talpade. It also marks the debut of actress Ragini Khanna who is actor Govinda’s niece in Teen Thay Bhai. Three down-on-luck and out-of-money brothers are summoned to the death of their grandfather. With nothing in common, except their undying hate for each other, the funeral turns out to be a reunion from hell. Pappu (Siddhartha Sanghani) has done it once again but this time he ran away from his hometown with 4 of his friends to Mumbai. Pappu is the most intelligent student, the most lovable child and the most adorable and faithful friend in his village in Nainitaal in Uttar Pradesh in India. Masti Express the new hindi film has two stories running in parallel: Rajpal Yadav and his wife Divya Dutta's eager desire to have their kid educated in a renowned school and then the auto rickshaw race which also forms a part of the story. Masti Express movie review... Director Vikram Pradhan also succeeds in creating hope in the viewer’s mind who would definitely want only their protagonist to win a race, whether it’s a chariot race, rickshaw race or even a cycle race – as portrayed in English and Hindi films. Masti Express does appeal in parts, not in its entirety. During some moments, the film is engaging, but not throughout as there are many instances or scenes where the story seems to be stuck and leading to nowhere.
