All Hindi films released with love and romance as main theme

Deewana Main Deewana is the much-delayed film directed by K. C. Bokadia which stars Govinda, Priyanka Chopra and Kader Khan in lead roles. KC Bokadia, a well known director who has given many bollywood films, some of them where huge hits, while some just disappeared as soon as they appeared. The last hit film as a producer was more quite a few years ago - Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam which starred Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. In this romantic thriller cum comedy cum murder mystery, Govinda plays role of Basant, an easy going lad who is an easy going person and Priya (Priyanka Chopra) enters his life. Ajab Gazabb Love is a romantic comedy film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. Jackky Bhagnani and Nidhi Subbaiah play the lead roles, along with Arjun Rampal, Arshad Warsi, Darshan Jariwala and Kirron Kher. All the characters in this drama try hard to tickle your bones, eventually land up with giggles here and there. The story is about a poor little rich boy Rajveer (Jackky Bhagnani) who falls in love with a girl Madhuri (Nidhi Subbaiah) who is a strong advocate of social justice and equality. Further, he learns that she ‘hates’ all rich people and will have nothing to do with a rich boy like him. A Marathi girl Meenakshi Deshpande (Rani Mukerji) falls in love with a Tamil artist Surya (Prithviraj). Aiyyaa is a funny (and odd) love story with the backdrop of a Tamil - Marathi cultural clash. Meenakshi, the lead protagonist woos a stranger whom she desires. This young Maharashtrian woman is crazy, filmy and a dreamer who loves escaping into her own fantasy land. A love story of a middle aged couple. Directed by Bela Sehgal (Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s sister) is different from the Shirin Farhad tales we have heard of. It isn’t a love story about teeny boppers or the handsome guy and a beautiful lady. This one is about the love story of a man and woman who appear to be in their forties. A new trend is witnessed in bollywood. If a film is an action oriented – it has to be a Sikh or a Punjabi family background. And the safest bet now is even if there is an undercurrent of humour although it is a love story; it has to be about Parsis. Thankfully, there is an attempt to portray the Parsi community, depicting realistic moments - just like they exist inIndia. Movie Review: Romantic This film comes from the house of Shakti Samanta which made some memorable romantic films like Aradhana, Kati Patang, Amar Prem, Kashmir Ki Kali and others. In this jet age with fast-changing times, with plenty of realistic films released, we have this entertainer woven around old Indian traditional values. There is a dialogue in the film - 'Hansi Aati Hai Ki Aajkal Ke Zamaane Mein Aapke Jaise Log Bhi Hai' – says it all. It is the typical story of 70s and 80s where we have two warring families, with their kids falling in love and then the predicament that is bound to be there around. Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai is a dramatic love story of two young people who are caught between love for each other and the generations old enmity between their respective Rajput families.
