My Friend Ganesha 2 is a sequel to My Friend Ganesha – the first part which was received warmly by the audiences. Our favourite Lord also knows as Vinayak is shown as a Westernised Ganesha who also speaks in English, is shown attired in Bermuda shorts, a cap, a guitar in his hand and even with tattoos! Joining him in the film are Master Ali, Harsh Chhaya, Bhairavi Goswami, Suhasini Mulay, Sulbha Deshpande and Upasana Singh. Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is about this eventful and whirlwind journey of Bobby, a planner along with 5 losers: Lala bhai, a failed business man, Gaurav, an honest copy writer, Manik - a struggling model, Shruti, a struggling fashion designer and Ashima, a successful TV actress. Memsahab is based on the cruel incidents post the 1984 riots between a section of Hindus and the Sikhs in Delhi and other parts of North India.. Ensuing these riots, the Sikhs were targeted by the hindu fundamentalists and several Sikh families were ruined. Yukta Mookhey plays the character of Anjali, who is a victim of the riots and is pushed into prostitution. This young girl Anjali’s mother is raped by the villains and her father is shot dead. What an horrifying impact would this have on the girl! This Anjali grows up with such traumatic memories of her childhood. Comedy specialist director Priyadarshan has come out with another not so great comedy story about a widowed father and his authoritarian son - Mere Baap Pehle Aap. The director who has produced good comedies like Hera-Pheri and Malamaal Weekly comes up with just an average entertainer. Anyway, good performances and the dialogues add fizz to the story. It is the story of an authoritarian son (Akshaye Khanna) who bosses his long-widowed father (Paresh Rawal) about living away the remaining years of his life like a decent old gentleman. But the father, well under the influence of his lusty old friend (Om Puri), is inspired to relive his youth again and marry his childhood sweetheart (Shobhana). Three cool women led by the go-getter Sandhya Mridul, Australian beauty Tania Zaetta and Miss Thailand Kamala Ning, highjack a truck which carries some diamonds and succeed in carrying off a complex diamond heist, in the process they kill the guards and the police escort. This is what My name is Anthony Gonsalves is all about. Well, then this film is the story of an ordinary boy - Anthony Gonsalves (Nikhil Dwivedi) who has an extra ordinary dream - to become a film star.
