‘Road’ or the very recent gay professor in ‘Aligarh’. Manoj Bajpayee proves to be the actor who has always surprised the audience with his phenomenal performances and daring choices.

Living up to his quality of being the most versatile actor, the two times national award winner Manoj Bajpayee is now going to be seen in the most unconventional role of a constable in the short film TAANDAV.

Directed by Mr. Devashish Makhija and Produced by online portal Muvizz.com, the film portrays the life of a head constable who is torn between following the righteous trail and being seduced by the dark path of dishonesty.

Tandav is described as a vigorous dance by lord Shiva that is the source of the cycle of creation, preservation and dissolution. The Taandav dance in itself depicts angry dance movements, and immersing oneself in that dance to overcome the feeling of frustration.

The director believes that constables today in India struggle every day to support their families on meagre salaries after working hard day after day.

Through Manoj’s character the short film tries to show the massive struggle and frustration they go through every day on the job.

Commenting on their association Piiyush Singh of Muvizz.com says, “We are a platform dedicated to independent film makers and Taandav is a showcase of the kind of talent that exists in our country today”

Muvizz.com held the grand premiere of the much awaited short-film ‘Taandav’ on the 5th February, 2016 at Hard Rock Café in Andheri, Mumbai.

The event was attended by the leading star cast Manoj Bajpayee, Director Devashish Makhija and the guest of honor, film-maker Anurag Kashyap who was accompanied by Sudhir Mishra and Tigmanshu Dhulia.
