Atharva’s Rhythm 2016 attended by starry celebs of Hindi film Murari – The Mad Gentleman
07th March 2016, Mumbai: The on-going Culture College Fest ‘Rhythm 2016’ at Atharva Institute of Film & Television (AIFT)witnessed a mega film festival for movie aficionados. This film festival was held to celebrate the magical world of Cinema in the presence of movie dignitaries like Saandesh Nayak, Chandi Dutt Shukla, Uday Shankar Pani, Bobby Khan, Saameer Mody, Abhishek Javkar.
Winners of Indian Princess 2015 Snehapriya Roy and Sukanya Bhattacharya – were also present as Chief Guests at Rhythm 2016 Awards night.
The entire team of Hindi movie Murari – The Mad Gentleman had made a visit at the festival to promote their film. Three days of the festival were dedicated for short films & documentaries. The film festival received tremendous response through entries from budding filmmakers & acclaimed ones. National & International entries of over 250 films were screened in Short Films & Documentaries Category with different genre of films like drama, black humour and public service films.
On the occasion, Mr. Sunil Rane, Executive President Atharva Group of Institutes said, “Atharva Group of Institutes and Atharva Institute of Film and Television has first time taken an initiative to promote film and television to give an opportunity to the young talent of India via Atharva Short and Documentary Film Festival. A new platform for directors, editors, film makers and actors has been created for the field of education & entertainment not only in India but all over the world. This Atharva Film Festival has added a feather to Atharva’s cap with the hard work and dedication of Atharvaites and young talent of India.”
Actors like Sanjay Singh, Natalia, Yajuvendra Singh, Kishore N Patel, Kiran Sharad and Sunil Patel from Comedy Hindi film Murari – The Mad Gentleman were seen interacting with the crowd. The audience got super excited about the stars and had a gala time knowing about the film.

Rhythm – an inter-collegiate festival at Atharva Educational Trust is a powerhouse of Talent. The word’s “Culture blends with Technology” truly epitomizes Rhythm. This festival has begun from 6th March 2016 and will conclude on 12th March 2016. The week long cultural fiesta shall feature various events under the literary arts, performing arts, fine arts categories along with technical and fun events.
