Darling A Killer Love Story
This Ram Gopal Varma's movie is the story of a man, his wife and his dead lover. The film's title is therefore called Darling - A Killer Love Story. Aditya Soman (Fardeen Khan) is a philandering, unfaithful husband, who, nevertheless, loves his wife and kid. Office affairs are just another perk he enjoys, with no strings attached. But when he gets in physical relationship with his secretary Gita Menon (Esha Deol), he has no clue what a deadly mess he'll find himself in. \ Gita's wild wanton ways camouflage her insecurity. Apna Asmaan movie review
Ravi (Irfaan Khan) and Padmini (Shobhana) are happily married. Apna Asmaan is about how they share a strained relationship due to their teenage son Buddhi's (Dhruv Piyush Panjnani) intellectual handicap. Buddhi, a mildly autistic slow learner displays his flair for art but his parents, with their middle-class insecurities, neither recognize nor encourage his talent. Buddhi is good at drawing but his mother wants him to be good at mathematics, as she was a gold medalist herself. Seeing her son is not like other normal children, she takes him to temples, churches and babas, hoping for a miracle. As the name suggests, this is fun filled caper about four friends - Roy (Riteish Deshmukh), who believes that he is the best detective in the world; Manav (Javed Jaffery), who actually happens to be the biggest idiot in the world, but is blissfully unaware about it, Aditya aka Adi (Arshad Warsi), "Mr. know it all" and the fourth one is "Mr. scared of everything…" - Boman played by Ashish Choudhary in Dhamaal. Victoria no 203 movie review
Victoria No. 203 is a story about a diamond heist and how the lives of so many different people get intertwined in the search for lost diamonds. The movie takes off with a display of the diamonds worth Rs300 crores . Bobby Bombata (Jaaved Jaafery), a rich industrialist and Devyani (Preeti Jhangiani), his moll are smitten by the diamonds. Bobby is willing to do anything to acquire them. When the diamond owner denies his offer to buy the diamonds, his ego is hurt. He hires the services of a cat burglar, Tora (Tora Khasgir) to steal the diamonds. Tora performs a daredevil heist and escapes with the diamonds. Unofficially based on the original hindi movie SHOLAY, which was a landmark film, the movie Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag has been presented by Ram Gopal Verma, a maverick director keeps the basic storyline as same, but the setting and interpretation is different. Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag ... The introduction of the villan Babban is terrifying, and the characters of Jai, Veeru, Thakur, Basanti are presented in the present day times. To a certain extent, RAMGOPAL VARMA KI AAG does justice to those characters, especially Gabbar, who wore a sinister look on his face all the while. Well, Gabbar is history, now its Babban The original romance of Dharmendra-Hema Malini is portrayed as the Ajay Devgan-Nisha Kothari "jodi", which is not as the one to remember for in years. The finest part of this film is that it not pro or anti any religion. It squarely points fingers at people who spread terror in the name of religion. Buddha Mar Gaya is all about money and its side effects. Laxmikant Kabadiya (Anupam Kher) is a business tycoon, whose company is on the verge of offering an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Rs 5000 crore. Post the IPO it would make LK’s company one of the largest business houses in the country. And ofcourse a lot of money within his family too. However, LK dies a night before the IPO opens in the market. This leads to series of erroneous events. Yes there are some misunderstandings which are resolved rather quick, as well as an unfinished and unneeded track of an underworld don called Chhota Don (Rajpal Yadav) who seems inspired by both Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Though the basic premise of the movie is the same as well as a number of sequences which have been lifted directly, Sanjay Chhel’s screenplay does give the it’s own look and feel which in turn makes PARTNER it’s own unique movie.
