Pammi Somal has written and directed the film Na Jaane Kabse which is as a family entertainer starring a newbie actor Garry Gill and vivacious Amrita Prakash. Amrita was seen as a child artist in Tum Bin, and more recently in Vivah. We have another typical Bollywood love story here. A 'self made' bartender-turned-resort's managing director falls for a librarian. But the fact is that the girl is from a rich family and her dad father owns a bigger resort, where the girl works in the library. The possessive and more than caring father has ensured that the daughter does not have to work outside her protective precinct. What happens when a jilted bridegroom hops into a girl's car and carts her off to his honeymoon resort? There is love, and of course, a whole load of dhamaka. Shakal Pe Mat Ja is an unconventional film and its title itself sounds funny. The concept is interesting, and the four protagonists are very natural, but the film lags in its departments of screenplay and editing. It is a story of 4 young boys who get caught up as suspects at the Delhi international airport, on the anniversary of the American terrorist attacks, while capturing a American Airways aircraft landing on their camera. Shakal Pe Mat Ja is a comedy based on mistaken identities with the background of terrorism and its threat. To put it simply, it is the story about two girls and a guy. Damadamm movie review... Himesh Reshammiya is a respected Music Director and a singer himself. Not all singers are handsome or talented as actors, and not all actors are as good as singer as compared to their acting prowess. As an actor our Himeshbhai is way below the mark. India’s most expensive film Ra One has finally released, with its aggressive pre-release promotion a month before its release. The special effects are excellent and are comparable to the best in Hollywood. Its concept is fine, the video game subject too is latest. Where it lacks, or what is unwanted is its scenes like the Karwa Chauth which is seen in the typical Indian TV soaps, and the protagonist, which the director thinks all the South Indians are curly haired. Ra One is the story of a father (Shah Rukh Khan) trying hard to ‘fit-in’ in his son’s (Master Armaan Verma) badass world, a cool dude son trying hard to ‘dude-up’ his dad from ‘aiiiyyyo’ to‘yo!’ and a mother (Kareena Kapoor) lost in translation between her husband’s ‘ingeva’ and her son’s ‘in’ it!’ Shah Rukh Khan plays a Subramaniyam - South Indian game designer, who still hasn’t come ....
