The Blue Umbrella movie review
There is an ideal scenic, lush-green small mountain village somewhere in Himachal Pradesh, where everyone knows everyone else. Having plenty of time around, Nandkishor (Pankaj Kapur), a shabby shopkeeper in this village - is lying on a charpoy, headphones plugged into his ears, listening to his fortune. (Blue Umbrella movie review). The mechanical voice assures him that one day he would be richer than the richest man on earth. He enjoys it... Biniya (Shreya Sharma), an eleven-year-old girl who finds a beautiful, blue umbrella, and everyone is enchanted by its form and beauty including the small shopkeeper Nandkishore Khatri. While the girl goes on flaunting her blue umbrella all around this small town, to her friends and everyone, Nandkishore has his plans to swindle the umbrella from her. Biniya, though ready to share her possession with friends, steadfastly counteracts any off ....

Kaafila movie review
'Kaafila’ is the story of the troubles of a bunch of illegal immigrants headed to the greener pastures of the developed world. A journey which is fraught with danger, constant struggle and pain. The story travels and unravels through half of the world – India, Russia, Eastern Europe, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Kaafila movie review   Sunny Deol plays a man with clear conscience and a generous heart... And he is a devout Pakistani – a robust agent of ISI. All throughout the movie, events remind us constantly about the film’s theme which is about illegal immigration and human trafficking. The real-life incident of Malta Boat Tragedy is shown in which more than 300 illegal immigrants perished. The story also has other interesting angles like Russian mafia, a scientist with plutonium, Taliban, and much more... The movie has also some romantic sequences where Sunny ....

Chak De India movie review
Chak De India' is the story of a coach's fight to make his team, Team India, the best in the world. It is a film about self-belief, perseverance, determination and the human spirit to fight and win. Kabir, India's most successful Centre Forward of all time, bungles a crucial penalty and is castigated by the nation - as Pakistan win the cup. Seven years later, this never-say-die Kabir Khan is raring to go. His plan is simple: to start from the very bottom of the Indian Women's Hockey Team whose administrators aren't even serious in their approach looking for a coach. Cash movie review
A Priceless Diamond is up for Grabs... (Cash movie review) An amazing heist has taken place... The payment is made... The buyer is waiting... Then things go horribly wrong... Marked notes lead to a trail of cold blooded murders and ruthless double cross. As treachery rears its ugly head.... the game guns vicious... First everybody was fighting for the diamond. Now they are fighting for something even more precious - their lives... The rules of the game are clear - The winner will take it all. The loser will lose it all, even his life. Nobody's to blame but everyone will pay the price. The movie starts with introductions of its cast with flip-flops into animation of the action scenes which supposedly have been done by the actors themselves. A bit of progress, and then again some another character being introduced with an action scene, zoomed into, and turned into a rou ....

GST Galti Sirf Tumhari review
With her maiden production, Sarika S Sanjot, the producer of this film strikes it right in Bollywood with her venture GST - Galti Sirf Tumhari. The film begins with an intriguing premise and goes on to keep the audience guessing about the twists and turns in the story. To make it clear once and all, the film has nothing to do with the Goods and Services Tax implemented by the present government in the centre. Though the similarity lies with the ultimate motive with the central fiscal policy aims to bring about financial discipline in the economy, Sarika's comedy-thriller-suspense drama also carries a message about bringing discipline in one's social life. GST-the film is the story about a group of students of a law college in Dehradun, Mussoorie in Uttar Pradesh who take it easy in their lives and indulge in desires unknown to the impending danger they could get into. Arjun, May ....

The House Next Door poster
Smart camera work coupled with impressive sound effects and deft editing makes the horror film The House Next Door a must watch for horror film lovers. Director Milind Rau who is also the co-writer of this quite engrossing daunting thriller made in Hindi, Tamil and Telgu has succeeded in giving pure frights to the viewer. Except for the stretched ending (it could have been made shorter) Milind has come up with a horror flick that is much above the Indian film industry standards. Giving a brief glimpse of the era prior to Indian independence the story revolves around a mansion somewhere in Himachal Pradesh that was occupied by a Chinese merchant dealing in silk imported from China. Immediately it is the current period shown in the adjacent house where a noted neuro surgeon Dr Krishnakanth (Siddharth) resides with his wife Lakshmi (Andrea Jeremiah) happy in their world. Just then the ....
