Phoonk movie review

Every once in a while we either hear or experience things which cannot have a rational explanation. Phoonk the movie is about that.

The truth of the matter is that we have very little knowledge and understanding of life and its various mysteries. Phoonk movie review... The story of Phoonk demands an answer from you to the question that no matter how much of a non-believer you are, you can truly stand by your convictions especially when you or your loved ones are seemingly being threatened by demonic forces whose very existence your rational mind refuses to accept? Rajeev (Sudeep) is a successful Construction Engineer with a loving wife, and two children aged 10 and 8. He is an atheist to the core. He scoffs at God and even more at people who believe in the dark forces till one day when an evil was let loose in his happy home, threatening to destroy his family and shake up ....

The House Next Door poster
Smart camera work coupled with impressive sound effects and deft editing makes this horror film a must watch for horror film lovers. Director Milind Rau who is also the co-writer of this quite engrossing daunting thriller made in Hindi, Tamil and Telgu has succeeded in giving pure frights to the viewer. Except for the stretched ending (it could have been made shorter) Milind has come up with a horror flick that is much above the Indian film industry standards. Giving a brief glimpse of the era prior to Indian independence the story revolves around a mansion somewhere in Himachal Pradesh that was occupied by a Chinese merchant dealing in silk imported from China. Immediately it is the current period shown in the adjacent house where a noted neuro surgeon Dr Krishnakanth (Siddharth) resides with his wife Lakshmi (Andrea Jeremiah) happy in their world. Just then they notice new neighbou ....

The existence of the ‘other world’ has been a subject of debate between the skeptics and the believers. The Final EXIT directed by Dhwanil Mehta explores this particular aspect and appears convincing to a great extent. It is generally believed that the 'other dimension' or 'other world' always exists in our life. Made by a debutant director this film depicts layers of emotions of the characters. The audience will actually sense it throughout the film. This makes the viewer actually feel involved with the characters. The subject of other dimension has been taken in several Hollywood films but it is for the first time that a Bollywood film delves into this complex issue. Almost every body, knowingly or unkno ....

A Horror thriller film based on the chapter 'The Bridge to Body Island' in Robert Damon Schneck's book The President's Vampire. Time and again, we grapple to understand what drives a person to do such terrible things. But what if all of the questions we’re asking are wrong? What if the cause of all evil is not a matter of what…but who? The film begins with an incident occuring sometime in the 1960s there was an instance of mass murder in which a man goes on killing people on his block murmuring if anyone spoke about the 'name' which cannot be said. Phobia, hindi movie review
Radhika Apte is definitely one of the most under rated actresses in Bollywood. While in some other film she comes up as the glamorous doll, and maybe in the next, she is just the typical girl next door. This film needs to be appreciated for the courageous performance by Radhika Apte. Phobia has number of firsts to its credit. Besides being one-of-a-kind psychological thriller, the makers have incorporated Virtual Reality technology, a first for a Bollywood film. The central character, Mehak (Radhika Apte), an artist by profession, who suffers from agoraphobia, can be seen using a VR set in the movie. Probably, this year's creepiest psychological thriller is about an artist who visualizes violent and negative incidents which have no connection whatsoever. An incident occurs one night while returning from her painting exhibition, and Mehak is molested by the local taxi driver which ....

NH 8- Road to Nidhivan is written & directed by Munindra, Produced by Sunil Goel & Niharika Jha, Editing by Prakash Jha lacks the crispiness and the DOP by Miles Rangaswamy appears tacky at several moments.
