Moods of Crime, hindi movie review
A real-world film, that explores the psychology of criminals from the view of Criminal Psychology students. Unlike most of the Bollywood's larger than life films, Moods of Crime has a bold concept, appears quite realistic and hits the viewer about the characters which could be anyone around you or even your friend playing on you. Bollywood is known for larger than life films. However there’s a substantial audience which follows real-world films too. ‘Moods of Crime’ falls in that category which will leave the audience shocked. It doesn't have any extravagance, no songs, no item numbers which are substituted with a simple format of storytelling. Nawazuddin Siddiqui stands out in this dark Psychological Thriller with his brilliant portrayal of the psychotic killer of 1960s-70s. A sequel to the 2003 film Finding Nemo, Finding Dory focuses on the amnesiac character Dory, and explores her journey to be reunited with her family. Dory is a bright blue tang with a sunny personality and has severe memory issues (like Aamir Khan’s character in Ghajin), Dory only has short bursts of functionality before she forgets what she's doing, and the next moment she wonders what she had just learned. These memory lapses doesn’t upset her upbeat attitude until she realizes she is forgotten something big: her family. Now you See Me 2, movie review
'Now You See Me' is part of famous phrase used by Magicians " Now you see me, now you don't" which came from the various magic tricks that they performed in which they used to make things disappear in thin air including themselves. The title of the film was apt for the first installment of this franchise which was exciting, gripping and edge of the seat drama with the audience involved in what the magicians will do next. This second installment lacks style and substance but is drunk on technology, and fancy sleight of hand techniques of the four horsemen (there is one change the lady horseman of the previous movie is replaced by another by the name of Lula-Lizzy Caplan in fine form) who are trying to learn each others tricks, there is little magic. Do Lafzon ki Kahani is a mushy romantic fairytale idea of love, about sacrifice and depicts suffering for the sake of one's beloved. Radhika Apte is definitely one of the most under rated actresses in Bollywood. While in some other film she comes up as the glamorous doll, and maybe in the next, she is just the typical girl next door. This film needs to be appreciated for the courageous performance by Radhika Apte. Phobia has number of firsts to its credit. Besides being one-of-a-kind psychological thriller, the makers have incorporated Virtual Reality technology, a first for a Bollywood film. The central character, Mehak (Radhika Apte), an artist by profession, who suffers from agoraphobia, can be seen using a VR set in the movie.
