When a list of romantic songs is made, one cannot miss the evergreen and most-loved number ‘Yeh Nayan Dare Dare’ from the film Kohra. On this Valentine’s day, a rendition of the beautiful song is sung by playback singer Amruta Fadnavis in collaboration with Saregama music.
Amruta Fadnavis spoke with FilmyTown and stated, “It’s been more than 5 decades to this song, but the song is still so fresh. One cannot miss this in the list of romantic songs till date.”
The original song was sung and composed by Hemant Kumar in the year 1964 for the film Kohra. The lyrics were written by Kaifi Azmi.
Amruta was a state level under 16 tennis player during her schooling and later ater pursued MBA in Finance. This Management professional is a trained classical singer, and made her debut as a Playback Singer in Prakash Jha’s ‘Jai Gangaajal’ with the song ‘Sab Dhan Mati’.
This former CM’s wife is now a banker by profession and has been actively singing for films, albums, singles and various social cause issues.
