“We had initial doubts whether audience will give a thumbs up to our mystery-horror film, as this genre is very rarely attempted in Marathi films, but the overwhelming response has given us a boost in the arm to go ahead and try more better and more scary things,” Director Pritam SK Patil of Alyad Palyadspeaks to Paresh B. Mehta, Editor of Filmytown.com
Right during filming the first part, the director had an inkling to come out with a sequel that will be connected with the first part. “The sequel will follow the same pattern of going back and forth 400 to 500 years. With the VFX already matching international standards, the second part will be more scary from the viewpoint of emotions and soul. This horror story is based on traditional customs and the remaining part still needs to be shown in the coming part.
While celebrating the success of the film, the team of ‘Alyad Palyad’ organized a special event to express their gratitude to the media for their support. Producers Shailesh Jain, Mahesh Nimbalkar and director Pritam SK Patil will now bring ‘Alyad Palyad 2’ to their audience for the love of fans.
