Noted south-indian villian Adithya Menon who is known for his work in films such as Billa, Singham, Eega (Makkhi), Simha, Mirchi, Baadshah, Collector and recently released critically acclaimed Mysskin directed Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum is all set to make his Bollywood debut with ‘Main Hoon Rajinikanth’.
“It feels great to be a part of such film where we are trying to give a small tribute to Asia’s living superstar Rajinikanth who has given so much contribution to Indian Cinema and has taken our Film Industry to the next level.
Yes, I play Rajinikanth in the film and i cannot reveal much about my part or the film’s plot as it will be too early to talk about. But i promise that what you will see on the screen will be full-on entertainment and a laugh riot.” says Adithya Menon.
Main Hoon Rajinikanth is written and directed by Faisal Saif whose last film 5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore was selected in the category of Top 10 Bold Films of 2012 by The Times Of India.
Source informs Faisal Saif has also roped in controversial actress Kavita Radheshyam to play the main lead role opposite Adithya Menon. Kavita’s role resembles the characterization of late south sex-siren Silk Smitha’s life.
