Producer Nikunj Shekhar announces web series on Bihar’s most dreaded Don – Ashok Samrat

“SAMRAT is a true and original web Series that is a real crime drama based on the life of most dreaded Ashok Samraat and set in the background of 1990s Bihar. It unfolds the barbaric law, staged politics and the game of power in the hinterland of India,” revealed the producer Nikunj Shekhar.
The character of Samrat is shown as the most deadliest, notorious and styslist gangster of Bihar in 1990s. He is a government in himself. He makes and breaks the law. He is the don who introduced AK47 to India.
Till date the biggest shootout of India ever happened was to eradicate Ashok Samrat, reveal the sources from the production house.
This web-series is being produced by Nikunj Shekhar under his production house Breakfree Meaningful Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd & written and directed by Abhinav Thakur after critical success of his Bollywood debut film ‘Yeh Suhaagraat Impossible’ which marked highest rating on IMDB by India.
Breakfree Meaningful Media and Entertainment has declared a probable starcast as Abhishek Bachchan or Abhay Deol, eventually depending upon the confirmation of dates from the artistes. According to the producer Nikunj Shekhar the web-series will be going on floors in a couple of months. It will be shot at real locations of Bihar & Jharkhand.
The Production House just released the motion poster of SAMRAT web series which looks rustic and quite interesting.
